In a recent video on his social media, the Indian River High School standout shared a video of himself working out with North Carolina Coach Bill Belichick, in which it appears the legendary NFL figure is sharing tips on his passing.

“A kid like me getting time with a football legend like Coach Bill Belichick… unreal,” Heru wrote, as he detailed just how much the NFL icon inspired him. “The gems and time you gave me won’t go to waste. I’m locked in and ready to climb. I will see you again very soon, Coach.”

With this spark lit under him, we may see Heru in the college football world in the years to come, and potentially even further, going off this scouting report from youth1.com
“Heru is a dynamic athlete who makes big plays with the ball in his hands. He can break down a defense in a variety of ways. His speed leaps off the film, along with his elite quickness and shiftiness,” his profile says.
“With the ball in his hands, Heru shines in the open field. He evades defenders with ease as he glides down the field. Heru is a dual-threat QB who also shines throwing the ball.”
The Indian River Quarterback also already has connections to UNC and may well be on their radar for the future. He was invited to visit the school and meet multiple coaches and Bill Belichick himself.

While we’ll likely see Heru in the college football world, the North Carolina coach might not be coaching by then, as Heru is part of the College Football class of 2029, four years from now.
