The Nebraska Cornhuskers are in the running to land one of the country’s better high school wide receivers.
After an out-of-nowhere visit this week, four-star wide receiver Larry Miles might be a Cornhusker shortly.
Larry Miles Visits Nebraska
According to insider Tim Verghese, 2026 four-star wide receiver Miles visited Lincoln this week after speaking with head coach Matt Rhule and his staff over the phone.
The visit lasted 20 hours and it included a breakfast, as well as a tour of the team’s facilities.

Miles is widely known to be one of the more talented wide receivers in the 2026 recruiting class.
He even worked out recently with former Miami Hurricanes and current Tennessee Titans starting quarterback Cam Ward, who had this to say about the Orlando native after he made a catch:
“That’s what I’m talking about. I hope I play with you one day.”
Anytime you hear those kinds of words from a first overall pick, and you haven’t even played a down of college football, you know you are doing something right.
It will be interesting to see if Miles decides to sign with the Cornhuskers after this latest visit.
Nebraska Could Greatly Use Larry Allen in 2026
The Cornhuskers are currently competing with Louisville, Boston College, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Kentucky, Miami, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, and Wisconsin.
Of course, his working out with a former Miami Hurricane in Ward might not bode well for schools not named Miami.
But the Cornhuskers could use him in the future, especially if you consider that the team’s leading receiver from a year ago had just 587 yards receiving (Jahmal Banks, who now plays for the Baltimore Ravens).
That statistic shows how non-prolific the Nebraska passing game has been.
The last Cornhuskers wide receiver to reach 1,000 yards was current Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Trey Palmer, who did that in 2022.

If starting quarterback Dylan Raiola wants to reach his full potential as a pure passer, he will be in favor of the team landing a talented pass-catcher like Miles.
All the Cornhuskers can do now is wait to see where Miles lands, but they are in the running, and that is all they can ask for at this point.
