The Knueppel name continues to make waves in the basketball world. One brother, Kon Knueppel, is already turning heads as he prepares for the 2025 NBA Draft. His name is climbing the ranks, and his game is speaking volumes.
Meanwhile, his younger brother, Kager Knueppel, is also making his mark. He recently drew attention during Team Herro 16’s opening game at EYBL Session 3, where they secured a statement win over the NJ Scholars. This strong showing proved why he’s one of the most exciting players in the 2027 class.

Kager Knueppel Impresses Scouts With EYBL Session 3 Win Over NJ Scholars
Knueppel is quickly making a name for himself on the national basketball stage. The 6’8” small forward from Wisconsin Lutheran High School is turning heads with his standout performances in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League.
In Session 2 of the EYBL, he showed why scouts are paying close attention. Knueppel scored 23 points, shooting an impressive 9-of-13 from the field. He also knocked down 3-of-4 shots from beyond the arc. His smooth shooting and all-around game even caught the eye of Kentucky head coach John Calipari, who was seen courtside watching closely.

But Knueppel’s success isn’t limited to AAU basketball. At Wisconsin Lutheran, he helped lead his team to a 28-2 record in the Wisconsin Section Woodland-West League. He averaged 15.2 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game.
Even more impressive were his shooting numbers—56.4% from the floor, 41.9% from three, and 81.6% from the free-throw line.
Now representing Team Herro 16s, founded by NBA star Tyler Herro, in EYBL Session 3, the young prospect showed pure dominance on the court. His versatile skills and elite scoring against the NJ Scholars helped his team secure a dominant win.
More importantly, he sent a strong message to college scouts and basketball insiders. You can check out the highlights of his game against the NJ Scholars that people are sharing on social media, showing that the youngest Knueppel is absolutely on fire.
