The video was utterly amusing until fans started having more fun with their jokes.
One fan commented on Instagram, “Shilo was hitting Prime better than Prime.” Another enthusiast wrote, “Shilo is my fav none of them has the energy he has always happy and smiling.” A Deion fan wrote, “They know their dad is cool as a fan.” A funnier comment read, “Shilo done perfected that thing since then🔥🔥🔥❤️.” Another Shilo admirer wrote, “I love shilo 🤣.”
Sanders seems to be staying positive despite going undrafted last month.
After showing enough good tape in college, Sanders was signed as an undrafted rookie by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will be looking to make an impact early and often this summer.
With Bucs head coach Todd Bowles’s liking to utilize the backend of his defense, Sanders has a good chance of making the team.
Shilo Sanders’s College Numbers
A former all-conference player at Jackson State, Sanders found a way to put together a solid college career despite battling injuries and bouncing between three schools.
He played a total of six years of college football for South Carolina, Jackson State, and Colorado. With the latter two schools, his father was the head coach.
The final two years of his collegiate career, which came at Colorado, were his two most productive seasons. In 2023, he recorded a career-best 67 total tackles, along with a career-best four forced fumbles.
That year, he started 11 games, which was also the best mark of his career. Last season, Shilo recorded 67 tackles, added two tackles for loss (career-best), and produced his first defensive touchdown.
While the 25-year-old might be a little bit older than most rookies, and while he battled a few injuries, he still has plenty of potential to make an impact in the NFL for the right team.

It will be interesting to see if that team is the Bucs right out of the gate. If it does not work out this year, he will have to continue his career elsewhere in the hope of making a different type of impact.
