Kon Knueppel, a former five-star recruit out of Wisconsin Lutheran High School, is preparing for the NBA after averaging 14.4 points per game as a full-time starter at Duke. He is the oldest, with four younger brothers: Kager, Kinston, Kash, and Kid.
The 6’8″ Kager Knueppel, a teammate to Kon last year on a Wisconsin Lutheran squad that finished 30-0, is an inch or two taller than his sharpshooting older brother and appears to enjoy a bit more length. Plus, he’s also a proven deep-ball threat.

At session two of the Nike EYBL, Knueppel was going to work on the court in front of Arkansas Razorbacks men’s basketball head coach John Calipari, who seemingly enjoyed what he saw.
Slam High School Hoops shared the video of Knueppel on their X, formerly known as Twitter, account, garnering some attention. The video showed Knueppel shooting the ball very well from deep, hitting a few lay-ups, and even had a few blocks thrown in there.

Knueppel has already landed his first Division I offer. That suitor is the Toledo Rockets, who entered his recruitment after watching him shoot 9-for-13 from the field and 3-for-4 beyond the arc en route to tallying 23 points in last week’s 72-59 win over De Pere High School (Wis.).
Toledo head coach Tod Kowalczyk, a Wisconsin native, was the head coach at UW-Green Bay before taking over at Toledo in 2010. Meanwhile, the Knueppel brothers’ mother remains the UW-Green Bay all-time leader in points and rebounds.
Wisconsin Lutheran won a state championship in 2024-25, and Knueppel played a big part in it. He averaged 13.5 points on 54.5% shooting from the field.
While it certainly may not be easy, Arkansas could certainly make a move to try to land Knueppel to commit to their program. However, it seems like this won’t be as likely, as the Duke Blue Devils remain the favorites to land Kon’s younger brother.

It remains to be seen where Kager ends up. While someone has him favorited to land with Duke, he could be trying to forge his own path.
Arkansas is certainly in the loop to land Kon’s younger brother, and Calipari already seems impressed with what he saw from the prospect, and could very well be offering Kager a scholarship.
