Shilo Sanders said goodbye to the Colorado Buffaloes before he started his journey with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The son of legendary coach Deion Sanders was not selected in the recently concluded NFL Draft 2025. However, the player joined the NFL team as a free agent.

Shilo Sanders Reflects on Final Day in Colorado With Big Dreams Ahead
Sanders posted a video of himself working out on his official YouTube channel and captioned it as, “I’m Officially Leaving Colorado.” He further wrote, “TAMPA Here I Come!” In the video posted on his account, the 25-year-old claimed that he just woke up as he moved out of the location.

He said, “About to get up out of here. Bro ah, Colorado. We got to go stand on the mountains like this. But now we got the moving company out here. And umm we’re getting everything packed.”
Expressing his happiness, Sanders continued, “I’m so happy to just go ahead and move. Go ahead and get this journey started.” The former Colorado safety then showcased his defensive back skills and training as he prepares to move ahead and pack for Florida. As Sanders prepares to begin his NFL journey, the Cleveland Browns selected his younger brother, Shedeur, in the fifth round of the Draft.
Sanders spent two seasons with the Buffaloes and attended 13 games for the program. Hailing from Canton, Texas, he played for Trinity Christian High School during his prep days. He led the Tigers to a perfect 14-0 record in 2018. In addition to this, he also helped the team to win the TAPPS Division II state championship.

Sanders started his college football career at South Carolina, playing from 2019 to 2020. The 5-foot-11 player played under his father, Deion Sanders, at Jackson State. He later followed his Hall of Famer father to the Buffaloes. As he concludes his college football career, the player is preparing to become a pro, and it is to be seen what he brings to the Buccaneers’ table.
