Shedeur Sanders Hilariously Breaks Down His Name Choices for Deion Sanders

While many fans have differing opinions on Deion Sanders and his family, that has not changed who they are as a family. They know how to joke and laugh with each other like nobody’s business.

This was on display when Shedeur Sanders, the former Colorado Buffaloes star, addressed what he calls his father, who is the coach at Colorado and was the new Cleveland Browns QB’s coach for over half a decade.

Shedeur Sanders Shares How He Jokes With Deion Sanders

In a recent sit-down interview with Rocsi Diaz, who co-hosts the “We Got Time” podcast with Deion, the Sanders family spoke about the different name choices they have for their father.

“I say ‘Prime.’ … It kind of just depends on what we need,” Shedeur responded.

Whatever name the boys use to address their father, it is clear that there is a lot of love and a lot of humor in it.

That is the most important thing, especially because athletics can take anybody so far in life. At the end of it all, perhaps the most important thing to you, or in this case, the Sanders family, is the love and relationships that they have with one another.

However, it is humorous to imagine Shedeur and his brothers finding the right way to address someone who is both their father and their coach.

Shedeur and Shilo Sanders Head to the NFL

What should also make Deion proud is the fact that two of his sons, Shedeur and Shilo, are both now in the NFL.

While he did slide in last month’s draft, Shedeur was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fifth round. He will be part of a quarterback room with former Super Bowl-winning quarterback Joe Flacco, veteran Kenny Pickett, former Oregon quarterback Dillion Gabriel, and possibly Deshaun Watson.

If he can make it out of training camp and onto the final roster, it will be a huge accomplishment.

In regard to Shilo, the 25-year-old defensive back went undrafted last month. However, he was eventually signed as an undrafted rookie by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It will be interesting to see how he progresses this summer as a player who is not necessarily guaranteed a roster spot.

Nevertheless, Deion, aka “Prime,” as his kids know him, has a right to be proud of what his sons have done for themselves so far in each of their football careers.
