“They see him as the next guy in that Matayo Uiagalelei role,” Jonathan told On3. “It’s a great fit.”
Oregon’s push for Wesley appears to be paying off. On3’s Steve Wiltfong recently placed a prediction for Wesley to choose the Ducks over his other suitors. While Oregon currently ranks No. 19 in the 2026 team recruiting standings, securing a commitment from Wesley would be a major statement and a potential momentum-changer.
Wesley’s profile has drawn comparisons to former Oregon standout Kayvon Thibodeaux, but some believe Wesley is ahead of Thibodeaux at the same stage.
