If you played EA Sports College Football 25, you know that there were some college stars who were the most fun players to use in the game.
From Quinshon Judkins’ overpowered spin move to Jalen Milore’s speed at quarterback, some players just felt broken and unfair. With the announcement that EA is dropping the ’26 version of the game in July, these are the ten players that I think will be the most fun players to use in the game.

10) Caleb Downs, Ohio State Buckeyes
Now, it’s not often that Safeties are the most fun players to play with in a video game, but Caleb Downs is going to be different. I expect him to be a 96+ overall and absolutely broken in the game. Whether you use him at safety or move him down to sub linebacker, I think he’ll be unreal to play with.
9) Avery Johnson, Kansas State Wildcats
Avery Johnson will be one of the most fun quarterbacks to use in the entire game. Not only does Johnson have a solid arm, but he’s also incredibly fast. In the ’25 version of the game he had 88 speed and I expect that to the same in the new game if not faster. He should be overpowered and very fun to use.
8) TJ Parker, Clemson Tigers
Now, I know there is some stigma around usering defensive lineman, but if there is one to do it with, it’s going to be TJ Parker. The Clemson Defensive end racked up 11.5 sacks in just his sophomore season and should be well above a 90 overall. James Pearce was super overpowered in ’25, and I think we might see something similar with Parker in ’26.
7) Ryan Williams, Alabama Crimson Tide
Ryan Williams was one of the best receivers in the country as a true freshman, and EA should give him a high overall in the new video game. He’s got elite speed, which matters a lot at wide receiver in the game, and I expect him to have a wide variety of abilities, making him even more fun to use.
6) Kaytron Allen/Nick Singleton, Penn State Nittany Lions
I’m doubling these two guys up because, in general, the Penn State backfield should be unfair in the new game. The two backs both had over 1,000 yards in 2024 and should be two of the three highest-rated backs in the game. Using Penn State should be banned in EA college football 26 because of these two guys.
5) Anthony Hill Jr., Texas Longhorns
Having a good user on defense is one of the most important parts of any football video game, and none will be better than Anthony Hill. Not only will Hill have elite block shedding and even some good pass rush ability in ’26, but his elite speed will make him the most fun linebacker to use in the entire game.
4) Eric Singleton, Auburn Tigers
Eric Singleton is listed as a wide receiver, but the former Georgia Tech star is as shifty as they get in space. With running back-like agility, I imagine he’ll be loaded with abilities and unfair in the RPO game. Singleton is easily one of the players I look forward to using the most.
3) LaNorris Sellers, South Carolina Gamecocks
When it comes to quarterbacks, none will be more fun to use than South Carolina’s LaNorris Sellers. Sellers should have one of the best arms in the game, along with speed in the mid-to-high 80s. He was already super fun to use in the ’25 version of the game, so I can’t wait for ’26.
2) Jeremiyah Love, Notre Dame Fighting Irish
I don’t think there will be a better running back in the entire video game other than Notre Dame’s Jeremiyah Love. He’s a powerful runner who should break a lot of tackles in the game, and also should have a high speed rating. Combine that with the abilities that EA is going to load him up with, and there’s no doubt that he’ll be elite to use.
1) Jeremiah Smith, Ohio State Buckeyes
I don’t think this should come as a surprise for anyone, but the player who is going to be the most broken, overpowered, and fun to use in EA Sports College Football 26 is Jeremiah Smith.
