‘I Hope I Play With You’ — Cam Ward Finds New Favorite in 2026 WR Larry Miles in Viral Highlight Clip

It’s not often a high school player receives high praise from an NFL quarterback, let alone the number one overall pick in the NFL Draft, but that’s exactly what happened to four-star Larry Miles.

Miles is ranked as the 451st player in 247Sports’ 2026 class and is being heavily pursued by many Power Four programs. He had the opportunity to train with new Tennessee Titans quarterback Cam Ward and did not disappoint.

After throwing Miles a deep ball, Ward says, “I hope I play with you one day,” which has to be the coolest feeling ever for Miles. But Miles deserves it as he’s an uber-talented receiver who is going to make a college program very happy.

Miles plays for Jones High School in Orlando, Fla., where he has dominated throughout his high school career. He’s an elite separator with strong hands at the catch point and is an amazing athlete who can make things happen after the catch.

While it’s far too early to tell if Miles can make it to the NFL, everything he has put on tape thus far in his early football career has been great and maybe one day in the not so distant future he will end up catching passes from Ward.

Regardless of what Miles turns out to be, getting praised by a quarterback as accomplished as Ward, who has seen his fair share of elite pass catchers, is a good sign for the young wide receiver.
