The Arkansas Razorbacks are not happy with Madden Iamaleava leaving and have expressed a dramatic call from the player amid his transfer to UCLA. The former quarterback is expected to join UCLA, as per a report by ESPN, and has made this move after entering the NCAA transfer portal.
The quarterback decided to leave Razorbacks a day after his older brother Nico Iamaleava provided his commitment to play for the Bruins team out of the transfer portal.

Arkansas Takes Legal Action After Madden Iamaleava Leaves for UCLA, Seeks $500K in NIL Money Back
It seems like the Razorbacks “want their money back,” as per a report by CBS Sports’ CFB analyst Adam Breneman. In a social media post, Breneman stated that Iamaleava earned $500k in NIL. However, the player “dipped before playing a single snap.”
While the former Arkansas quarterback has now moved to UCLA, his former team is “coming after him” to recover the cash. The journalist continued by saying that the action has been taken to warn other players as well, and for the future of NIL.

Madden Iamaleava got $500K in NIL — then dipped before playing a single snap.

The Razorbacks’ name, image, and likeness (NIL) collective has hired a lawyer to seek and enforce a buyout clause in the agreement of the former player, as per a report in CBS Sports.
Further, Rob Sine, the Blueprint Sports CEO, confirmed to the aforementioned source that the parent company that is overseeing the Arkansas Edge collective has taken legal help from attorney Tom Mars to enforce buyout provisions in NIL contracts at the program.
It has also been reported that Arkansas athletics director Hunter Yurachek has ordered to follow such steps. Yurachek is the one who directed the collective to seek buyout money in case contracts are broken by the players, he stated through his social media account. The statement was released soon after Iamaleava enlisted his name in the transfer portal.
Iamaleava spent just four months with the Razorbacks. During his high school career, 247Sports, Rivals, and ESPN ranked him as a four-star prospect.
