Henderson’s journey to Missouri started when he entered the transfer portal last month, after four solid years with the Ohio Bobcats in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). He had quite an astonishing stat record at Ohio.
He racked up 51 career tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. His best season came in 2024, when he recorded a career-high 26 tackles, showing he’s ready to impact at a higher level.

At 6’2” and 280 pounds, he has the size and strength to hold his own against SEC offensive lines, which are known for being some of the toughest in college football.
The program hasn’t seen consecutive 10-win seasons since 2013-2014, and Eli Drinkwitz, the head coach, is clearly looking to build on that success. Landing Henderson is a strategic move to shore up the defensive line, as the unit will face stiff competition in the SEC.
The Tigers are set to host teams like South Carolina, Alabama, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State in 2025, while hitting the road to take on Auburn, Vanderbilt, and Oklahoma. Henderson’s experience and production at Ohio make him, to a great extent, a valuable addition as the team prepares for demanding schedules.
As Missouri gears up for the 2025 season, Henderson’s addition could, to many extents, be a game-changer. The team is coming off a strong run, and maintaining that momentum in the SEC is no easy task.

Their season opener against Central Arkansas, a Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) team coming off a 6-6 season in 2025, should be a great avenue for him to get his feet wet before the SEC gauntlet begins.
Missouri’s first conference game is at home against South Carolina on September 20, and Henderson’s ability to disrupt opposing offenses could be crucial in setting the tone for the season.
