While Bill Belichick has taken the reins as the new head football coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels, much has been made about his relationship with girlfriend Jordan Hudson. But some, like Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy, believe he hasn’t seen their photos posted on social media.

Dave Portnoy Doesn’t Think Bill Belichick Checks Instagram
One of the people who thinks Belichick hasn’t seen much of himself on social media is Barstool Sports Owner Dave Portnoy, who spoke recently about that (via Barstool Rundown).
“I don’t know if he knew anybody else saw those photos…I don’t think he knows, still, what social media is.”

Portnoy and his Barstool hosts are, of course, discussing photos posted by Hudson over the last few months, including one of the Super Bowl-winning head coach and Hudson at the beach.
This discussion comes after Belichick’s awkward interview with CBS, during which he appeared surprised by a few of the questions. However, what was even crazier was Hudson controlling the interview somewhat from off-camera.
As if it were not already obvious, the relationship between the 73-year-old Belichick and the 24-year-old Hudson is significant.
Belichick Looks to Turn North Carolina Program Around
Belichick is stepping into his first season as a college football head coach.
He will look to bring the Tar Heels back to relevance after winning six Super Bowls in over two decades with the New England Patriots.
The team has won 10+ games in a season just once since the 1998 season, which is part of the reason Chapel Hill has become more of a basketball town.
But Belichick and Co. will be looking to change that.
In 2025, their conference will consist of some quality teams: the Clemson Tigers, SMU Mustangs, and Miami Hurricanes.

The Tigers and Mustangs made the College Football Playoff last season, and the Hurricanes, fresh off a 10-win season, acquired veteran quarterback Carson Beck in the transfer portal.
But there will be plenty of intrigue this coming fall in North Carolina, and that is due to Bill Belichick’s arrival.
