Nick Saban led Alabama to six national championships in nine championship appearances during his tenure. His daughter, Kristen Saban, has often been spotted at his side, attending games and supporting his endeavors. Kristen is married to Adam Setas, and they welcomed a child in 2020.

Kristen Saban gave birth to a baby boy in 2020, James Nickolas Setas. The boy turned five on April 27, and Kristen threw him a birthday celebration on the soccer field where James and his mates had just finished playing.
She then took to Instagram to share a post showing James’s journey, from tiny newborn to energetic five-year-old in pictures, including one that featured Nick Saban and his wife, Terry.

Kristen added a perfect caption to the post: “James Nickolas Setas, you are the joy of my life. Happy 5th birthday, big boy! There’s no one like you.”
Kristen Saban attended the University of Alabama, where she worked under her father, contributing to the football program as a student assistant. She then worked as a sales assistant for the Tennessee Titans before switching to public relations and marketing roles for a few years, most notably as Mercedes-Benz Birmingham’s marketing director.
In 2020, she joined Nick’s Kids Foundation full-time and now serves on its board of directors.
Nick Saban had an illustrious coaching career, during which he won seven national championships as a college football head coach, the most in history. He was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in 2013 and will be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2025.

Following his retirement, ESPN hired Saban as an analyst for College GameDay, beginning with the 2024 college football season. The network announced that Saban would also contribute to its coverage of the NFL Draft and SEC Media Days.
