This year’s NFL Draft was full of surprises, leaving many top prospects holding their breath as they faced unexpected draft slides. At the same time, some prank callers took advantage of the tension, making fun of the players in a mean-spirited and shameful way.
Earlier, Shedeur Sanders was pranked while waiting to hear his name, and as time went on, several other stars also became victims of similar tricks. Thankfully, all of them were eventually selected, so fans took it lightly. But what about Isaiah Band?
The pranksters took it too far by giving him false hope for a moment. When he ended up undrafted, fans wondered what the Longhorns’ wide receiver was going through. Can anyone imagine the disappointment he must have felt?

Another Draft Night Prank Hits Isaiah Bond in Brutal Fashion
The 2025 NFL Draft brought heartbreak to Texas wide receiver Bond, who went undrafted despite being projected as a late Day 2 or early Day 3 pick. To make matters worse, Bond became the victim of a cruel prank call during draft night, sparking anger among fans.
The prank was shared in a video posted by Dov Kleiman on Twitter, raising questions about how pranksters got Bond’s phone number. In the video, someone pretends to be Atlanta Falcons GM Terry Fontenot. The caller says, “Isaiah. What’s going on?” to which Isaiah replies, “It’s going good right now. How about yourself?”
The prank continues, with the fake GM saying, “I’m going to give the phone to Arthur Blank right now, but we’re going to put the pick in.” Bond, with excitement, replied, “That’s good news; you’re getting a baller.” But the caller then added, “Roll tide, Isaiah. Roll tide,” with a shameless laugh, that is when the prank is exposed.
Kleiman captioned the video, “These aren’t ‘pranks’; they are cruel. Athletes shouldn’t have to go through this.” It’s not just Kleiman’s feelings; everyone who saw the video shared similar reactions.
One user on Twitter angrily asked, “Who leaked his number? That’s the real question.”
While some fans tried to brush it off as a joke, others did not. One fan called them out, writing, “No, it’s not. These people are waiting for a chance to change their lives and family lives. Everybody says it’s just a joke, no, if not, it’s weird.”
Another user added, “These aren’t even funny!”
Someone else commented, “These are all fucking awful. I don’t give a shit who there calling.”
Many fans even blamed the growing prank trend, with one saying, “Why is this becoming a trend? These people deserve real consequences.”
