The Quarterbacks Ready to Lead College Football After the 2025 NFL Draft

    Carson Beck (Miami Hurricanes)

Carson Beck had a promising season at Georgia, with 3,485 passing yards and 28 TDs, but a UCL injury during the SEC Championship Game stopped his trajectory. After successful surgery, Beck removed his name from the transfer portal and has since committed to the Miami Hurricane. With his recovery going well, Beck wants to get his draft stock perked up and assist Miami’s offense next year.

    Dante Moore (Oregon Ducks)

Former UCLA quarterback Dante Moore transferred to Oregon, where he initially committed before choosing to go to UCLA. Moore will take the reins of the Ducks’ offense after redshirting in 2024 behind Dillon Gabriel. Having been around the system and the coaching staff, he’s in a position to have a breakout season.

    Arch Manning (Texas Longhorns)

Arch Manning, the highly touted recruit from Isidore Newman School in New Orleans and nephew of NFL legends Peyton and Eli Manning, is stepping into the starting role at Texas following Quinn Ewers’ departure to the NFL.

In 2024, Manning appeared in 10 games, completing 67.8% of his passes for 939 yards and nine touchdowns, while rushing for four scores. His leadership and pedigree make Longhorns fans optimistic about returning to national prominence.

Drew Allar (Penn State Nittany Lions)

Drew Allar is a fourth-year lineman who has worked hard and earned another chance to help stabilize the Nittany Lions. He led Penn State to the College Football Playoff in 2024, passing for 3,327 yards and 24 touchdowns. Allar decided to forego the 2025 NFL Draft to continue to grow as a player with the Bulldogs and to get the opportunity to finish the national championship run in 2025.

    Garrett Nussmeier (LSU Tigers)

Garrett Nussmeier showcased his potential in 2024, throwing 4,052 yards and 29 touchdowns. Known for his gunslinger mentality and resilience, Nussmeier returns to LSU aiming to refine his skills and elevate his draft stock. His leadership will be pivotal as the Tigers navigate a competitive SEC landscape.

    LaNorris Sellers (South Carolina Gamecocks)

In 2024, LaNorris Sellers became a dual-threat figure at quarterback, passing for 2,534 yards and 18 touchdowns and rushing for 674 yards and seven touchdowns. His athleticism and versatility give South Carolina’s offense another dimension. Rather than dwell on his missed opportunities, Sellers is hellbent on improving his decision-making and consistency to help himself and his team achieve their potential.

    Cade Klubnik (Clemson Tigers)

Leading Clemson to an ACC Championship in 2024, Cade Klubnik threw for 3,639 yards and 36 touchdowns. His performance solidified his reputation as a reliable and efficient quarterback. Entering his senior year, Klubnik’s experience and poise will be vital for Clemson’s continued success and his positioning in the 2026 NFL Draft.
