As we are in the thick of the college football offseason, Bill Belichick is gearing up for what will be his first season at the collegiate level, coaching the North Carolina Tar Heels. Belichick is one of the best coaches in NFL history, and he hopes to continue his legacy at North Carolina.
Belichick’s first book will be out soon, so he and 24-year-old Jordan Hudson have been doing a book tour. In a mostly fluff-filled sit-down interview, Belichick met with CBS Mornings’ Tony Dokoupil. The interview quickly turned uncomfortable when his partner began in terjectiong on which questions the coach should answer.

In the interview with Dokoupil, Jordan Hudson and Bill Belichick refused to answer questions about how they met, leaving fans unsurprised and speculating about their connection. Whether they were just private or not, Belichick remained silent on how he met his 24-year-old girlfriend.

Before he could begin answering Dokoupil’s question, Hudson, who wasn’t part of the interview, interrupted, saying off-camera, “We’re not talking about this.”
Ironically, it’s a topic neither of them was going to answer; Hudson has previously posted about it on her Instagram page. However, something differed between her sharing the photos on Instagram and not wanting to acknowledge the question in the CBS Morning interview.
Reportedly, this isn’t the first time she has interjected herself in interview with the former Patriots coach.
This is another example of what has been rampant over the past several months. Hudson seems to be heavily involved in the UNC team, especially in interviews. From his coaching job to program negotiations with NFL Films, she’s taking a very active role.

If that’s what Belichick’s okay with, so be it. However, it’s still very unprecedented. Ironically, it’s also the type of thing Belichick, in past years, would have mercilessly mocked.
