‘We With You’ — Flau’jae Johnson Stands With Shedeur Sanders After Colorado QB’s Message on Draft Humbling

Like the rest of the world, LSU’s Flau’jae Johnson has followed the surprising turn the 2025 NFL Draft has taken in the case of Shedeur Sanders. The Colorado quarterback for the past two seasons was projected as a first-round pick, but that wasn’t the case, not by a long shot.

    Flo’jae Johnson’s Reaction on X

No team selected Shedeur in the first three rounds of Friday’s draft. The son of former NFL star Deion Sanders will have to wait and see if a team calls on him this Saturday. At best, he will settle for being the 103rd pick.

After such a fateful day, Sanders seems to have woken up on Saturday with a new vision for his career. At least, that’s what his early morning post on X suggests:

The post went viral within minutes, with over 3 million views and over 90,000 reactions in just three hours.

Johnson also decided on her future at the end of the 2024-25 season. In her case, she chose to stay with the Tigers, where all indications are that she will finish her college basketball career.

The 22-year-old guard also had the option of entering her name into the NCAA transfer portal and leaving in search of new horizons. Ultimately, she chose not to pursue that option either.

LSU reached the Elite Eight last season, where they lost to UCLA 72-65. They finished third in the SEC with 12 wins and four losses (31-6 overall), behind only South Carolina and Texas.
