    Strong Parental Support Behind Kyle Kennard

    Born on Dec. 12, 2001, in Michigan’s Flint, Kennard moved to Georgia at just nine years old. The defensive end began honing and developing his skills in Riverwood International Charter School in Sandy Springs, where he started his schooling.

    The defensive end never shied away to talk about the important role his parents played in his life.

    After winning the 2024 Bronko Nagurski Trophy, he made sure to thank those who have helped him in this journey.

    “I want to give a huge shoutout to my mom and my dad, as well as my little brother who I try to be a positive role model to every day. I want to give a shoutout to my coaches that are right there, coach shane beamer and coach sterling lucas, I am honored to win this award,” Kennard said.

    Kennard’s parents are Kevin Kennard and Chan. Moreover, he has a younger brother, Kalin.

    Chan, the mother of Kyle, is a hair stylist by profession. She has an Instagram and a Facebook page. Her Instagram handle is @fromcoaltodiamond on Instagram. As per her profile, she has both a BBA and an MBA.

    However, when it comes to Kyle’s father, Kevin Kennard, there is not much information available.
