After compiling a 2-0 record to kick start the 2023 college football season, including a win over a highly-rated Ohio team, San Diego State begins a Pac-12 double-header by welcoming UCLA to Snapdragon Stadium. Although the head-to-head history is heavily in the Bruins’ favor, Brady Hoke’s team can seek motivation from a 23-14 win over their Power Five foe in 2019.

After their two-game dance with the Pac-12, the Aztecs begin a difficult Mountain West schedule against conference favorites Boise State. UCLA’s final season in the Pac-12 before departing to the Big Ten began in underwhelming style as the offense struggled early on against a Coastal Carolina program finding their feet under new head coach Tim Beck.
