Colorado State’s star wide receiver, Tory Horton, is still on the board as one of the best wide receivers in the NFL Draft.
A lot of the credit for where he is deserves to go to his parents, Tim Horton and Zezette Horton.

Tory Horton’s Rise and the Help of His Family
Not only have Tim Horton and Zezette Horton helped to support their son during his football career, but their other kids have too.
Tony Horton is one of five siblings, which explains why he is extremely competitive.
His entire family has helped him find a way to becoming an NFL wide receiver.
While the All-Mountain West performer has yet to be selected yet, it is safe to say that he as a great chance to make an impact wherever he goes.
That can be attributed to the way he was raised and helped out by his family in his early years.
What Makes Tory Horton a Talented Prospect
Horton stands at 6-foot-3 and showed off how dominant he was during his time playing for head coach Jay Norvell.
Prior to having his final season cut short due to injury, he was perhaps the best pass-catcher in the conference.
In 2023, he recorded 96 receptions for 1,136 yards and eight touchdowns (11.8 yards per reception).
The year before, he caught 71 passes for 1,131 yards and eight touchdowns (15.9 yards per reception).
The former Nevada transfer has not gotten to play under the spotlight as often as wide receivers like Emeka Egbuka or Matthew Golden, but he is just as good.
Teams like the New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers, and Houston Texans all could use an extra big-play threat out wide.
Each of those teams either lost a key receiver this offseason or simply need some extra juice in the room.
Horton likely won’t get selected past the third round because of how productive he was, along with his intangibles.

That is why it might not be a surprise to see a team trade up for him if he was available.
As the draft continues on in Green Bay tonight, Horton will be one to watch as the picks fly off the board.
