The 2025 NFL Draft is upon us, and so is your need to be prepared for all of tomorrow’s stars. Dive into our spotlight on Kyle Williams, featuring his scouting report, strengths and weaknesses, his recent draft projection, and where all the experts predict he could land.

Kyle Williams’ NFL Draft Scouting Report
Kyle Williams has had one of the strongest offseason performances in the 2025 NFL Draft class. After routing up defenders at the Senior Bowl and testing with 4.4 speed at the NFL Combine, he’s become a regular in the early-round conversation.
Williams played three seasons at UNLV before transferring to Washington State. He caught passes from Cam Ward in 2023, and then broke out in 2024, with 70 catches for 1,198 yards and 14 touchdowns. At 5’11”, 190 pounds, Williams’ length is a limitation, and his hand technique can be inconsistent at times as a catcher.
But as a route runner, he has arguably the best combination of quickness and coordination, which he weaponizes with a full release package and razor-sharp route breaks. Packaging his separation skill set with his vertical speed and RAC ability, Williams has quality movement-Z upside.
Kyle Williams’ NFL Draft Projection
In CSN’s 7-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from April 12, Williams landed in Round 3 with the 95th overall pick. James Fragoza had this to say:
Re-signing JuJu Smith-Schuster shouldn’t keep the Chiefs from targeting a WR in the top 100, likely even sooner than here. But Kyle Williams is far from a consolation prize at No. 95, as he’s one of the more reliable playmakers in the class.
And in a recent three-round 2025 NFL Mock Draft on CSN, Brian Burden had this to say about selecting Williams in the third round with the 69th pick:
Williams’ name and game shot up when he transferred from UNLV to the Cougars two seasons ago. He went for 2,041 yards and 20 touchdowns on 131 catches in his two seasons in Pullman. The Patriots have missed countless times at the wide receiver position over the past two decades. They need a hit here.
