Isaiah Bond’s NFL Draft Scouting Report

Isaiah Bond is an explosive wide receiver with game-breaking speed and the ability to stretch the field vertically or create separation underneath. He accelerates quickly off the line and is a threat to score any time he touches the ball, especially on deep routes and screens.

Bond has smooth footwork, sharp route-running instincts, and shows flashes of tracking the ball well over the shoulder. He’s also a dangerous returner, adding special teams value.

However, his route tree is still developing, and he can struggle against physical corners at the line of scrimmage. Adding strength and refining his timing will elevate his game. There are also off-field concerns that make him a wild card in terms of where could be selected.

    Isaiah Bond’s NFL Draft Projection

In CSN’s 7-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from April 12, Bond landed in Round 2 with the 57th overall pick. James Fragoza had this to say:

No. 57 may be too high for some, but I still believe in Isaiah Bond’s skill set. His on-field speed leaves defenders multiple steps behind and doesn’t allow them to make up ground.

And in CSN’s recent 2025 NFL Mock Draft for Day 2, Bjorn Bergstrom had this to say about Bond’s selection to the New York Giants in Round 3 with the 65th pick:

After drafting Dart in the first round, the Giants need to add to their receiver room badly. Malik Nabers revealed himself as a star during his rookie season, but the cupboard is largely bare after him. Bond would be a solid addition as a depth piece and as a guy who can take the top off of the defense.
