Wyatt Milum’s NFL Draft Scouting Report

Relative to the average prospect heading into the 2025 NFL Draft, Milum is a safe projection. With proper hand placement, a high football IQ, and above-average play strength, he has the intelligence and power needed to slide into a starting NFL offensive line role from Day 1.

His zone-gap versatility as a run blocker should help him out a considerable amount, too. He’s a high-floor prospect, even though he’ll likely need to kick inside to guard due to his shorter arms.

Though his athletic upside isn’t quite elite, he’s far from a liability, with enough explosion and agility to work in small spaces. There are offensive linemen with higher ceilings in the 2025 NFL Draft than Milum, but his floor is one of the highest in the class.

    Wyatt Milum’s NFL Draft Projection

In CSN’s 7-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from April 12, Milum landed in Round 3 with the 71st overall pick. James Fragoza has this to say:

Tackle-guard versatile linemen are abundant in this class, and Wyatt Milum is one of the best. He didn’t test well, and those concerns appear on film, but his technique is sound and should translate.

And in CSN’s recent 3-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft, Brian Burden had this to say about Milum’s selection to the Dallas Cowboys in Round 3 with the 76th pick:

Dallas’ line was the envy of the league for years, but with retirements and departures, the team needs to reload in the trenches. Milum, who made 31 consecutive starts and did not allow a sack in pass protection in his final three seasons, is a strong replacement.
