The 2025 NFL Draft is upon us, and so is your need to be prepared for all of tomorrow’s stars. Dive into our spotlight on Armand Membou, featuring his scouting report, strengths and weaknesses, his recent draft projection, and where all the experts predict he could land.

Armand Membou’s NFL Draft Scouting Report
Armand Membou is a powerful, athletic right tackle who brings a rare combination of strength and technique. A standout at Missouri, he thrived against top-tier pass rushers, proving himself as one of the most battle-tested blockers in the country. He still has room to grow before reaching the elite technical tier as a pass protector and run blocker, but his effectiveness and athleticism are unquestionable.
Arguably no offensive lineman in the country faced more high-quality pass rushers than Membou. Likewise, no blocker consistently found a way to disallow pressures and sacks against top-notch competition the way Membou did.
Membou has an elite blend of size, length, mass, explosiveness, and corrective athleticism, and he excels at playing square, with stellar leverage and balance. Any move to the left side will require projection, but at right tackle or guard, he can make an impact early.
2025 NFL Draft Landing Spots for Armand Membou
With the seventh pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, the New York Jets selected Membou. They were a commonly mocked place for Membou to land and with Will Campbell off the board at No. 4, the Jets moved quickly to secure Membou.
In doing so, Membou tied the record for second-highest selection from a Missouri player in the school’s history.
Armand Membou’s NFL Draft Projection
In CSN’s 7-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft from April 12, Membou landed in Round 1 with the second overall pick. James Fragoza has this to say:
Cleveland’s roster is years away from competing, and the offensive line is in shambles. While I’d be willing to take Shedeur Sanders this high for a QB-needy team, the Browns would do more damage than not with a rookie passer. So, they begin their never-ending reconstruction with the draft’s top tackle: Missouri’s Armand Membou.
And in CSN’s recent 3-Round 2025 NFL Mock Draft, Brian Burden had this to say about Membou’s selection to the Atlanta Falcons in Round 1 with the 15th pick:
This may be low, with Armand Membou grades around the same as LSU OT Campbell on a lot of boards. He’s big (6’4″, 332 pounds) and fast (4.91 in the 40) and could be the heir apparent at left tackle for long-time Atlanta Falcons stalwart Jake Matthews.
However, Membou played solely at right tackle in college, and Kaleb McGary has that slot locked down right now. This may be a depth pick to have the talented Membou back up both tackle spots and build his way into the starting lineup two or three years later.
