Dan Lanning’s Oregon Ducks Expect To Gain Ground as 2028 QB Soars to Eugene and Top 2027 CB Donte Wright Eyes Future

The Oregon Ducks are coming off a great season in 2024, making it all the way to the Rose Bowl game before falling to the Ohio State Buckeyes. The Ducks had a magical season, winning 13 of their 14 games, and almost made it to the College Football Playoff National Championship before the Buckeyes had their number.

Dan Lanning’s Oregon Ducks Make Strides with 2028 QB’s Visit and Top 2027 CB’s Growing Interest

Their 13-1 record was good enough for first in the Big Ten and was arguably Oregon’s best season under head coach Dan Lanning. Now, Lanning and Oregon are looking to the future as they are expected to gain ground as their 2028 quarterback prospect soars to Eugene, and their top 2027 cornerback prospect is very high on the Ducks.

Dan Lanning’s Oregon Ducks continue to build momentum as 2028 QB Ace Amina visits Eugene and 2027 CB Donte Wright draws closer to committing. Will Oregon’s recruiting success grow if Amina and Wright get on board?

Ace Amina shared on X, formerly Twitter, that he’ll fly to Eugene to watch the Ducks in Saturday’s game at Autzen Stadium. Amina was already offered by the likes of Washington, Nebraska, Arizona State, Arizona, and his home state of Hawaii. Should Amina choose to stay in his home state, Hawaii has a good chance to land him.

However, that’s not always the case when it comes to a lot of these prospects. Some of them are eyeing the best program, and that’s abundantly clear to see with Amina. He’s looking at Oregon and after seeing the success of the program last year, he’s even more enticed to join it and take over at quarterback potentially in 2028.

As for 2027, their cornerback prospect, Wright, seems to be drawing closer and closer to committing to the Ducks and being a part of their fantastic defensive unit. The Oregon defense played a big role in the success of their 2024 season, and Wright could play a part of that a few years from now.

Wright took a visit to Oregon recently and after the visit, it’s said that Wright is extremely “high” on committing to the Oregon football team. However, Oregon isn’t the only team in on Wright as UCLA, Cal, Arizona, Colorado State, Arkansas, Penn State, Texas A&M, and others have offered him already.

It remains to be seen exactly what will happen when it comes to Oregon and landing the potential prospects in Amina and Wright. However, one thing we know for sure is that we’re already seeing Oregon looking towards the future after a successful 2024-25 season.
