Jalen Milroe was, at one point, the front-runner for the Heisman Trophy and climbing up draft boards. After a subpar finish to the 2024 season, Milroe’s flaws were exposed, and his draft stock took a hit.
But as we get closer to the draft, some teams still appear very high on the electric QB out of Alabama. He got an invite to the draft green room in Green Bay this week, which is always a good sign of where a prospect is projected to go. The question is, to where?

5 Potential Landing Spots For Jalen Milroe
New York Giants
The draft will officially start at pick No. 3 when the Giants go on the clock, because that’s when things get interesting. Will Travis Hunter still be there? Do they select Shedeur Sanders? Or do they trade the pick?
We know they won’t use that selection on Milroe, but if they like him enough and aren’t in love with Sanders, they could easily trade back, gain more picks and draft Milroe later on to let him sit and learn behind Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston.
Las Vegas Raiders
This is a franchise that just needed to completely hit the reset button after the last few seasons. A new head coach in Pete Carroll is bringing along QB Geno Smith.
What a great spot for Milroe to go, sit and learn from Smith, a quarterback who dealt with his own struggles early on, and Carroll, a coach who has been around the league a long time and found a lot of success.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Is Aaron Rodgers going to sign or not? Either way, it doesn’t matter. They still need to eventually find their quarterback of the future.
Milroe shouldn’t start on Day 1, but going to one of the best organizations in football, with a great head coach and strong ownership, is a recipe for success for any young QB.
Los Angeles Rams
Matthew Stafford doesn’t have too many years left. In a league that loves to throw young quarterbacks into the fire, giving Milroe the opportunity to sit and learn from a future Hall of Famer in Stafford and offensive guru Sean McVay makes a lot of sense.
Philadelphia Eagles
It might sound crazy for a team that just won a Super Bowl with a 26-year-old quarterback they paid $255 million to draft another QB early.

But Milroe’s game is extremely similar to that of former Alabama QB Jalen Hurts. His skill set would fit right into the Eagles’ offensive scheme. If they ever need insurance, they won’t have to stray far from their usual game plan.
