Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders is one of the best quarterback prospects in this year’s NFL Draft.

Cowherd Responds to Shedeur Sanders’ ‘Entitled’ Label From NFL Coach

Rumblings about Sanders and his draft stock have been rumblings in the last few weeks, and they haven’t been very positive.

Certain coaches and scouts, who have interviewed Sanders in the past, believe he is entitled, blames his teammates, and has other issues that could affect his play in the NFL.

Fox Sports host Colin Cowherd recently spoke on The Herd about these takes from said coaches and scouts.

“Interviews do matter a little bit for quarterbacks…The scouts, they’re not just making stuff up.”

These young players coming into the league are not used to the way these organizations operate, which is why they might not always come out looking great.

In this case, Sanders is not shown in the best light because he wasn’t prepared for some of the interviews.

Why Shedeur Sanders Possibly Wasn’t Ready

Make no mistake about it, Sanders shares a lot of his father’s qualities.

He wants to be the best, which possibly comes off as arrogance, and he is very gifted athletically.

While it did end well for his father, who went on to become a Super Bowl champion and Hall of Fame player, it is now Sanders’ time to face the music.

He cannot come into the league all cocky and arrogant considering he hasn’t accomplished anything at the NFL level.

Going back to his father, he played for him throughout his entire high school and college career.

He is not going to be playing for his father at the beginning of his NFL career.

It will be interesting to see how he adjusts to playing for a coach like Mike Tomlin or Pete Carroll.

He also went just 13-11 as the starter at Colorado.

It isn’t like he went undefeated while playing for Nick Saban or Ryan Day.

If he goes into the beginning of his NFL career acting like he has it made, it likely won’t end well for him.
