Tennessee Volunteers quarterback Joey Aguilar is having a breakout season on the field. Off the field, Aguilar and his girlfriend Rylan Moffitt are capturing hearts as they’ve rapidly become one of the favorite couples in college sports.
They never fail to give everyone something to talk about in terms of couple goals. Let’s take a look at five instances when they showed they were the real deal.
1. The Viral Game-day Kiss

Their supportive relationship was best captured in the embrace they shared on the field. The couple kissed (fourth slide) in celebration after Tennessee’s thrilling win.
It became a signature moment as far as their relationship and supporting each other in their athletic careers are concerned.
2. Custom Joey Badge
Before a major game, Rylan was not afraid to show off her custom button support. The button featured a smiling picture of Joey’s face and was clearly made for a fan. She shared a couple of seconds of the button on her Instagram story.
3. A Picture-Perfect Photoshoot

Outside of the stadium lights, the couple shared an incredible set of nature photographs. Ryan Moffitt released the set on her Instagram, captioned “You & Me”. The photographs shared the chemistry and affection they have for each other.
4. Playful Family Rivalry
Their bond even makes family rivalries fun. When Tennessee, her boyfriend Joey’s team faced East Tennessee State, Rylan’s brother, Trevor Moffitt, was on the opposing team’s roster. Rylan didn’t miss the chance for some playful teasing.
She posted an Instagram story tagging her linebacker brother. Her caption read: “HIII BROTHER @trevormoffitt SORRY WE HAVE TO MEET THIS WAY.”
5. Rylan’s Constant Support for Joey
The Tennessee Volunteers experienced one of their hardest defeats this season as the Georgia Bulldogs came back to win 44-41. Vols quarterback Joey Aguilar took the defeat hard, but he played well during the game. A day later, his girlfriend Rylan Moffitt posted an Instagram tribute with a carousel of game pictures and video.
She captioned her Instagram post, writing: “Not one moment wasted on Rocky Top.”

Joey Aguilar’s Breakout Season Catapults his Heisman Odds
Joey Aguilar’s girlfriend Rylan Moffitt is also a college athlete , playing basketball at UNC Greensboro. Previously, she played two seasons at Appalachian State.
In the meantime, Aguilar is establishing quite a name for himself with Tennessee. Now playing for the Volunteers, he has vaulted their offense due in part to his transfer’s eligibility in September. He has passed for 1,124 yards and 12 touchdowns in just four games. Aguilar’s performance this season has landed him ninth in Heisman Trophy odds.
His path here is remarkable. Inspired by his mother Lydia and coach Mike Darr, Aguilar made the decision not to retire from football. That decision is now paying off big-time for the Volunteers.
