Colorado made a strong impression this weekend as Ojo made Boulder his second official visit of the summer. The Mansfield (Texas) Lake Ridge standout—ranked No. 4 nationally and No. 3 among offensive tackles in the 2026 class by On3.

The 6’7″, 275-pound lineman previously locked in visits with Ole Miss, Ohio State (May 30), Michigan (June 6), Texas (June 13), and Oklahoma (June 20).

Ojo’s trip to Boulder sparked a wave of excitement among Colorado fans.

“Stick around, champ,” one supporter posted.

“That’s what Coach Prime needs is some outstanding offensive lineman,” another added.

Ojo, who holds 49 offers, appreciated the energy around the program, saying, “I feel like (Coach) Deion is changing the game over there at Colorado.”

Ojo wasn’t the only high-profile lineman on campus. Interior offensive linemen Deacon Schmitt, ranked No. 20 nationally and No. 2 in Colorado, and IMG Academy’s Breck Kolojay, ranked No. 19, also visited.
