QB Prospect Jared Curtis Choosing Between Georgia, Oregon

A five-star quarterback from Nashville, Tenn., Curtis is one of the most sought-after prospects in the next recruiting class. Standing at 6’4″, 225 pounds, Curtis possesses elite arm strength, field vision, and composure under pressure.

As reported by Hayes Fawcett of On3, Curtis has narrowed his decision to two big-name programs in the sport.

The prospect was previously a member of Georgia’s 2026 recruiting class but withdrew from the “‘Dawgs” last October. While he isn’t locked into playing ball in Athens, he has shown he still finds the team’s culture appealing.

“Georgia speaks for itself,” Curtis told On3’s Steve Wiltfong recently. “I’ve built a relationship with Coach Bobo and Coach Smart.

The Georgia Bulldogs, coached by Kirby Smart, have long been a college football powerhouse. In addition to recent championship success, Georgia has a solid reputation for producing elite quarterbacks.

Meanwhile, the Oregon Ducks have quickly emerged as a national powerhouse under Coach Dan Lanning. The Ducks established a dynamic offense, with quarterbacks flourishing under a high-powered strategy.

Oregon’s recent track record with quarterback development has played an important role in its hunt for Curtis. He recently complimented Coach Lanning and offensive coordinator Will Stein on their offensive vision and player development.
