5-Star Colorado QB Spotted Courtside to Support Denver Nuggets

Colorado Buffaloes' five-star QB Julian "Ju Ju" Lewis makes time to showcase support and attend the Denver Nuggets NBA game.

The Colorado Buffaloes parted ways with several key players after the 2024 season. Both of Coach Prime’s sons, Shedeur and Shilo, have also finished their collegiate eligibility and are preparing for the upcoming NFL draft. The offseason has been a rebuilding the team for the upcoming new era in Boulder.

As the Buffs continue their offseason revamp and training, five-star Buffs QB Julian “Ju Ju Lewis” has a lot of expectations surrounding his debut. Despite the responsibilities, he also enjoys supporting local teams in other sports.

With the departure of Shedeur Sanders, Lewis is one recruit who Deion Sanders brought in for the upcoming season. He was initially committed to the USC Trojans, but the Buffs managed to flip his commitment to Boulder in November 2024.

Apart from football, it looks like Julian Lewis also has an interest in the NBA. He was present to support the Denver Nuggets during their showdown with the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday, February 20 at the Ball Arena.

The Denver Nuggets gave Julian Lewis a warm reception to the game. They took to Instagram to post a picture of the quarterback courtside. Lewis smiled and posed for the camera while cheering on his favorite team.

“We had JuJu Lewis courtside for tonight’s dub,” the caption read.

The Nuggets managed to secure a 128-115 victory at home. This win gave them a 38-19 record for the season.

While Lewis may make his collegiate debut with the Buffs during the 2025 season, there are still questions about who Colorado’s starter will be.

Coach Prime also brought in Kaidon Salter from Liberty to strengthen his QB depth chart. He has not yet announced the starter for the upcoming season. So, the spring practices will finalize who will be the QB1 of the Buffs this year.
