It’s officially April, and that means the countdown to the 2025 NFL Draft is just a little over three weeks away.
The NFL Scouting Combine is behind us, and teams are shifting their focus to Pro Day workouts and top-30 visits. This year’s draft feels different than previous ones, with the stock of many of the top players varying depending on the analyst.

1) Cam Ward, QB, Miami
Tennessee Titans
After a swing and a miss on Will Levis, the Tennessee Titans can fix its quarterback problem once and for all. Ward was sensational across his college career and was a Heisman finalist last year with Miami. Ward’s strong arm and decision-making should provide some stability and optimism for the future.
2) Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
Cleveland Browns
While another edge rusher isn’t a huge need, especially after extending Myles Garrett, the Browns cannot afford to pass up on a generational prospect in Carter. The Penn State product’s athleticism and variety of pass rush moves will be a nightmare for opponents to deal with.
Plus, pairing Carter and Garrett together will make for one of, if not the best, edge duos in the NFL.
3) Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
New York Giants
What’s more fitting than Prime Time’s son in NYC?
The Giants signed Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson this offseason, but neither are long-term deals. Sanders can either start right away or sit for a few games and learn from two veteran quarterbacks. Taking Sanders will infuse some life into the Giants’ franchise that has dealt with subpar quarterback play for the past few years.
4) Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
New England Patriots
With the Patriots needing help at every position, they’re better off drafting the best player available at No. 4, and that’s the dual-threat Heisman Trophy winner.
New England could opt to protect Drake Maye and select the top offensive lineman. But if Hunter is still available, the Patriots should sprint to submit the card and not look back.
5) Mason Graham, DL, Michigan
Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville allowed 132.6 rushing yards per game in 2024. They’ll be looking to change that and take the All-American from Michigan.

Graham was a nightmare to opposing offensive lines during his college career. Whether it’s stopping the run or pass-rushing, his explosiveness should translate and cause issues at the next level.
6) Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Las Vegas Raiders
Multiple teams in the top 10 are interested in the Boise State running back, but he likely won’t fall past the Raiders.
Jeanty made waves in 2024 after leading the nation in rushing yards with 2,601 and second-most touchdowns with 29. Pete Carroll is going to want to run the ball, and while the offensive line is still a work in progress, Jeanty’s star power should provide an immediate upgrade.
7) Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
New York Jets
Membou’s elite 9.90 RAS Score has him rising up on draft boards. The Jets’ offensive line has struggled over the years, but Membou should help bolster the protection. He allowed zero sacks in 2024 at Missouri and will be effective at protection Justin Fields and creating lanes for Breece Hall.
8) Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
Carolina Panthers
The Panthers have spent last year’s draft selecting offensive weapons to help Bryce Young. This year, the focus shifts to the defense, specifically at pass rushing. Carolina finished with the third-least amount of sacks in 2024 with 32. While Williams’ stats at Georgia aren’t eye-popping, his upside is too much to pass up on.
9) Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
New Orleans Saints
The Saints’ biggest need is cornerback, so why not take the top one off the board? Johnson, a key member of Michigan’s 2023 championship team, has the potential to be a lockdown corner. While he was injured for most of last season, the Saints should be confident in taking the best cornerback in this draft class.
10) Will Campbell, OT, LSU
Chicago Bears
It’s clear the Bears are doing everything they can to protect Caleb Williams, especially after trading for Jonah Jackson and Joe Thuney. Campbell’s arm length has been criticized, but he should be an upgrade at left tackle over Braxton Jones.
11) Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
San Francisco 49ers
San Francisco has a lot of holes to fill on defense after losing Dre Greenlaw, Charvarius Ward, and Leonard Floyd. Ultimately, the 49ers need some pass-rush help opposite Nick Bosa. Green dominated at Marshall, totaling 17 sacks in 2024.
12) Tetarioa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Dallas Cowboys
Dallas desperately needs help at wide receiver. CeeDee Lamb is an elite receiver, but the Cowboys need to draft a receiver to alleviate some pressure. McMillan is a big receiver with strong hands who can give Dak Prescott another reliable target in the passing game.
13) Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
Miami Dolphins
The Dolphins offensive line struggled mightily in 2024 in both pass protection and the running game. Rumors are circulating that left tackle Terron Armstead is contemplating retirement.

As such, Banks can serve as an immediate replacement now and in the future. Banks allowed just three sacks in 42 starts at Texas.
14) Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Indianapolis Colts
In 2024, no Colts tight end totaled more than 200 receiving yards. That will change next season with the Colts taking Warren. The Penn State tight end is a versatile playmaker who excels at route-running, blocking, and running the ball.
Head coach Shane Steichen is going to find ways to get the ball in Warren’s hands to help either Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones.
15) Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons have to find a way to better rush the passer, and they start by taking Stewart from Texas A&M. Atlanta had the second-least number of sacks in 2024, with 31, and has had the fewest since 2019, with 169. Despite its best efforts and trading for Matthew Judon, the Falcons need to invest in an edge rusher.
Stewart’s strength and ability to disrupt plays in both pass and run defense with certainly help the Falcons’ front.
16) Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
Arizona Cardinals
Yep, the Cardinals are taking another wide receiver in the first round in back-to-back years, as Marvin Harrison Jr. didn’t live up to expectations last year. The Cardinals need someone to help stretch the field, and who better than Golden, who ran a 4.29 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine?
Golden’s speed and playmaking ability will add another dangerous weapon to the Cardinals’ passing game.
17) Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals made big investments this offseason to its offense, which likely shifts its focus to the defense in the NFL Draft. The Bengals lost All-Pro safety Jessie Bates in 2023. It feels they haven’t recovered from it yet, but can make up for it by taking Starks.
The All-American started three years at Georgia, and his combination of size, speed, and ball skills will make a difference for the Bengals’ defense.
The Bengals could select an edge rusher if they’re unable to extend Trey Hendrickson. But for now, they’ll take the for-sure thing in Starks.
18) Grey Zabel, OT, North Dakota State
Seattle Seahawks
Seattle has only made one signing to its offensive line in free agency, hinting that they could be adding more in the draft. Zabel, out of North Dakota State, can play multiple positions and can help fortify protections for Sam Darnold or create run lanes for Kenneth Walker.
19) Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay’s offense is stuffed with talent, but the defense has struggled the past two years. Campbell is a game wrecker with immense upside. He can disrupt offenses as a blitzer or in coverage.
20) Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
Denver Broncos
A second running back is taken in the first round. Sean Payton cannot be happy with how his run game was last season and how much he had to rely on rookie quarterback Bo Nix. With Golden off the board, Payton will shift his focus and take Hampton out of North Carolina.
MORE: Compensatory Picks in the 2025 NFL Draft
Hampton’s strength and speed will be a welcoming addition to a struggling Broncos backfield, giving their offense a much-needed playmaker in the run game.
21) Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan
Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are trying to win now but will also need to look towards the future. Cam Hayward will be 36 next season and taking Grant will help the team have a foundation for years to come. Grant’s power will be problem for opposing running games while his explosiveness has serious potential at rushing the passer.
22) Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Los Angeles Chargers
The Chargers signed Tyler Conklin this offseason, but the position group could still use an upgrade. Loveland is very athletic and known for his ability to make plays after the catch. He will be a valuable asset for Justin Herbert in the passing game.
Plus, Loveland played for Jim Harbaugh at Michigan so it makes perfect sense for them to reconnect at the next level.
23) Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
Green Bay Packers
The Packers organization has grown frustrated with Jaire Alexander and how he can’t stay on the field. To mitigate that, Green Bay will select a cornerback in Barron, one of the most talented players in the draft. Barron shined at Texas, and his speed, instincts, and size will contribute hugely to the Packers’ secondary.
24) Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
Minnesota Vikings
As of right now, Minnesota only has four picks in the 2025 NFL Draft and will need to make the most of them or make some trades.
Longtime Viking Harrison Smith, 36, is nearing the end of his career, leading the Vikings to take the lengthy, speedy Emmanwori. The South Carolina safety is one of the most athletic prospects in this class, with outstanding size and speed.
25) Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
Houston Texans
There’s no sugarcoating it: the Texans need to protect CJ Stroud better. Stroud had a sophomore slump in 2024 and was sacked 52 times, the second-most in the NFL. After trading away Laremy Tunsil, the best course of action is to draft his replacement, Simmons.
Simmons played with Stroud at Ohio State and is one of the pass blockers in this class. He only allowed one sack in his last two collegiate seasons and can play either tackle position. He is coming off an ACL tear but should be ready for the 2025 NFL season.
26) Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
Los Angeles Rams
As of right now, it’s unclear exactly which direction the Rams will go in the first round. What is clear is that Matthew Stafford is 37 and won’t be playing for much longer.
Dart has risen up draft boards in the past few months and is in the first-round pick conversation. Dart can extend plays and make accurate throws under pressure. He will be a solid successor to Stafford when he decides to hang it up.
27) Nic Scourton, EDGE, Texas A&M
Baltimore Ravens
Three Baltimore edge rushers – Kyle Van Noy, Odafe Oweh, and David Ojabo – will be free agents next offseason. The Ravens are unlikely to resign all of them, so now is the time to start thinking of a replacement. Scourton feels like a Ravens edge rusher with his power and strength.
28) James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
Detroit Lions
Once Aidan Hutchinson suffered a season-ending injury, the Lions pass rush became virtually non-existent. Pearce excelled at Tennessee, racking up 17 sacks over the past two seasons. With his combination of speed, explosiveness, and playmaking ability, the sky is the limit for Pearce.
29) Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College
Washington Commanders
It’s a run on edge rushers. The Commanders have already addressed multiple needs this off-season but could use some help in the pass rush. Ezeiruaku won the Ted Hendricks Award for the nation’s top DE after racking up 17.5 sacks in 2024.
30) Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
Buffalo Bills
The Bills traded away former first-round pick Kaiir Elam, hinting that the team is looking for his next replacement. Amos is a physical, lengthy corner that disrupted plenty of SEC offense. He has the potential to be a great corner in Buffalo.
31) Walter Nolen, DL, Ole Miss
Kansas City Chiefs
Defensive tackle Chris Jones has been a game-wrecker for multiple years in Kansas City, but the overall position group could use an upgrade.
MORE: Ranking the Best Small School Prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft
Nolen is explosive at the point of attack and is athletic enough to win as a rusher. Taking Nolen at No. 31 is a tremendous value for the Chiefs.
32) Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame
Philadelphia Eagles
Not too many glaring weaknesses for the reigning Super Bowl champs, but the Eagles could use this pick to solidify its secondary. Watts was an All-American at Notre Dame, recording six interceptions and nine passes defended in 2024. Watts’ ball skills and versatility to line up anywhere will be a weapon in Vic Fangio’s defense.
