    2025 NFL Mock Draft | Round 1

    1) Cameron Ward, QB, Miami (FL)

    Tennessee Titans

I’ve made five mock drafts and have not wavered from this pick. I don’t think that the Titans can pass up on taking the best quarterback in this draft class when they are in such dire need of a signal-caller.

Cam Ward is the most complete quarterback in this class with a live arm, great pocket presence, and great accuracy. I think he can easily come in and become Tennessee’s franchise guy.

    2) Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

    Cleveland Browns

Abdul Carter, to me, is the best player in this entire draft class. Even with Myles Garrett returning to Cleveland I think that Carter still makes sense for the Browns.

Carter’s quick first step off the edge, combined with his elite athleticism and bend make him a menace as a pass rusher. He and Garrett would immediately become one of the best pass-rushing duos in the NFL.

    3) Travis Hunter, CB/WR, Colorado

    New York Giants

This has been a pretty consistent spot with me as well. If the Giants end up not landing Aaron Rodgers, I could see their staff reaching on Sheduer Sanders, but for right now I don’t think they pass up Hunter.

Travis Hunter is the most versatile draft prospect ever. While I think he projects as a corner in the NFL, bringing him in as a wide receiver in the fourth quarter or certain packages makes him so valuable, and he’d be a great fit in New York.

    4) Armand Membou, OT, Missouri

    New England Patriots

Armand Membou has become offensive tackle one in this draft class. Even if you think he projects better as a guard, I think he’s the best overall lineman prospect in the draft class.

The Patriots MUST protect Drake Maye next season, and bringing in Membou will help them do so not only next year but also for years to come.

    5) Mason Graham, DT, Michigan

    Jacksonville Jaguars

Mason Graham is a game-wrecker on the interior defensive line. He is so good against the run and has the play strength and anchor ability to take on double teams and still stop the run.

MORE: Scouting Reports on the Top 100 Prospects

Graham would help the Jacksonville Jaguars defense as a whole next season and would help their atrocious run defense from 2024.

    6)Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona

    Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders got their quarterback of the foreseeable future with Geno Smith, but they need to get him weapons, so here I think they take the best wideout in this class.

Tetairoa McMillan is so talented, and his athleticism combined with his frame and catch radius make him a true X receiver, and that projects very well to the NFL. The Raiders really have no weapons right now so to get Geno McMillan would be great for their offense.

    7) Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State

    New York Jets

I’ve kind of stayed away from taking Warren off the board this early in previous mocks but I think with the Justin Fields signing this makes a lot of sense.

Warren is a great receiver and a talented run blocker which makes him the complete package at tight end. He can be a reliable safety blanket for Justin Fields over the middle, which should help Fields find his footing in New York.

    8) Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M

    Carolina Panthers

The Carolina Panthers shipped off Brian Burns last offseason and need someone to bring in and help their pass rush. For that reason, I have them going, Shemar Stewart.

Shemar Stewart lacked production in college, but his Senior Bowl and Combine performances solidified the fact that he’s truly a freak of nature. His size and speed combination make some of the question marks about his production go away and I think he’ll be a fantastic pro.

    9) Will Campbell, OT, LSU

    New Orleans Saints

I know Will Campbell has “small arms,” but I still think he’s a fantastic offensive lineman prospect. Campbell is so technically sound and anchors so well against a pass rush that I think whether he plays at tackle or guard, he’s going to be a very good pro.

The Saints need help along most of their offensive line, and Will Campbell could slide in at a lot of positions with his versatility and overall talent.

    10) Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

    Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears went out and addressed the majority of their offensive line needs in free agency, which now gives them a chance to get new head coach Ben Johnson a weapon in the first round.

Jeanty, in Ben Jonson’s offensive system and playbook, would be electric. The world has seen what Johnson’s run game scheme was able to do with Jahmir Gibbs and David Montgomery, and I think Jeanty would have similar results.

    11) Jalon Walker, EDGE, Georgia

    San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers tried to bring in Joey Bosa in free agency in a deal that alledegly fell through. San Francisco kind of needs help all over their roster but here I think it makes sense to sure up their pass rush.

Jalon Walker can play off ball linebacker or at EDGE, but with the flashes he showed in 2024 as a pass rusher I think that NFL teams will want him there. Walker is an insane athlete and his upside is through the roof.

    12) Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama

    Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys need help at a lot of their positions, but I think getting a true Mike linebacker would help their defense greatly.

Not only is Jihaad Campbell a fantastic player with great run-stopping and block-shedding ability, but he’s also a freak athlete. I think he’d be a perfect fit in Dallas and again become the backbone of that defense.

    13) Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas

    Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins’ entire offensive line needs an upgrade, but upgrading tackle would make Tua Tagovailoa’s life a hell of a lot easier next season which is why I have them selecting Kelvin Banks.

I think Banks is the best left tackle prospect in this class, and while I am hesitant about his ability to transition to right tackle seamlessly, I think he could get it done. Having Terron Armstead and Banks protecting Tua on the outside would help the Dolphins offense a whole lot next season.

    14) Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina

    Indianapolis Colts

Nobody had a better Combine performance than Nick Emmanwori, and it’s not that shocking when you turn on the film. The Colts need their hands on a young safety, and I think Emmanwori is a great fit.

Emmanwori had one of the highest relative athletic scores at the Combine ever, and combining that athleticism with his elite range, ball hawking, and run stopping ability he’s the complete package as a safety prospect.

    15) Will Johnson, CB, Michigan

    Atlanta Falcons

While I think the Falcons should upgrade their pass rush, they also need another lockdown corner alongside AJ Terrell. Will Johnson has fallen down draft boards as of late but I still think he’s the best pure corner prospect in this draft class.

MORE: Historic Fact — Every Team Owns Its Own First-Round Pick in 2025 NFL Draft

Johnson didn’t flash great athleticism or length during the testing portion of the NFL Combine. However, the film speaks for itself. Johnson has fluid hips and drives on routes at a high level, which makes him sticky in man coverage. His IQ and ball-hawking ability also allow him to strive in zone. Overall I think this would be a slam-dunk pick for Atlanta.

    16) Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

    Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals must address their defensive line in the draft, and with the way this board has fallen, I think Walter Nolen is the best defensive lineman available.

Nolen is the best pass rusher from the interior in this draft class. His ability to get after the quarterback from the middle of the D-line makes him a coveted player. Not only does this pick make sense for his pure talent, but it fills a team’s need as well.

    17) Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia

    Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals desperately need to upgrade their defense, especially after they did little to do so in Free Agency. With Trey Hendrickson likely being traded, I have the Bengals going EDGE with Mykel Williams.

I think Mykel Williams has become underrated throughout the draft process, and I’m not quite sure why. Not only was he productive in college, but his athleticism was great as well. He didn’t test super well at the Combine, but it shows on his tape consistently. I think he’d be a great fit in San Francisco alongside Nick Bosa.

    18) Tyler Booker, OG, Alabama

    Seattle Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks brought in Sam Darnold in free agency, and that means you have to protect him and be able to run the ball. Tyler Booker would help the Seahawks to both.

In terms of pure interior offensive line prospects in this draft class, Tyler Booker is the best one. He’s solid in every facet of playing guard. He run blocks well, he can pass block, he’s athletic enough to get out and move, and he’d be a great fit in Seattle.

    19) Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers might have the worst secondary in the NFL heading into next season so here I have them getting Jahdae Barron.

Barron won the Jim Thorpe Award in 2024 which is handed out to the best defensive back in college football every season. He’s a great corner and silenced any doubts about his athleticism at the NFL Combine. He can play nickel or on the outside, and the Bucs need help at both.

    20) Matthew Golden, WR, Texas

    Denver Broncos

While I think Omarion Hampton would make a lot of sense for Denver here, I don’t think they can pass up on Matthew Golden.

Funnily enough, my comp for Golden is Broncos legend Demaryius Thomas, and the Broncos could use a receiver like that for young quarterback Bo Nix. Golden is such a refined route runner and has elite body control. While he needs to work on some concentration drops, I think he’s the clear wide receiver two behind McMillan in this class.

    21) Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado

    Pittsburgh Steelers

The fall of Shedeur Sanders comes to an end here with the Pittsburgh Steelers selecting him. While the Steelers might get Aaron Rodgers, if Shedeur is here at 21, I think they select him either way.

Sanders is not a first-round talent in my eyes, but there are some things to love. He’s got fantastic accuracy and is about as tough as they come. I think his arm strength is going to be near the bottom of the league, and there are some processing questions, but overall I think the Steelers would be happy to take him here.

    22) Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

    Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers need help on both the edge and interior of their defensive line, but with the re-signing of Khalil Mack, I think they opt to go interior with Derrick Harmon.

Derrick Harmon is a complete defensive tackle prospect who has climbed up draft boards throughout this offseason. He’s physical at the point of attack and stops the run at a high level. He can also be an effective pass rusher from the inside. Harmon would produce at a high level at defensive tackle, something the Chargers need.

    23) Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall

    Green Bay Packers

The Packers haven’t found someone to play alongside Rashan Gary, ever since Preston Smith began to regress. Here they fix that by taking Mike Green.

MORE: Compensatory Picks in the 2025 NFL Draft

Mike Green is a physical nightmare on the edge. He has a great speed-to-power combination and had 17 sacks last season. While there were questions about the level of competition he was playing at Marshall, he proved that he could play against top-tier talent at the Senior Bowl.

    24) Malaki Starks, S, Georgia

    Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings resigned Harrison Smith on a one-year deal but will eventually have to find the 14-year NFL veteran’s replacement. Here, they take him in the form of Malaki Starks.

If Starks were to fall to 24, I don’t think the Vikings would think twice about passing up on him. Starks is a fantastic safety who’s sticky enough in man coverage and has great range when he’s in zone. He’s physical and not afraid to make plays in the run game. He fits the mold of a Brian Flores safety and would be the perfect pick-up for Minnesota.

    25) Donovan Jackson, OG, Ohio State

    Houston Texans

The Texans traded away Laremy Tunsil to the Commanders and now have one of — if not the — worst offensive lines in football. Donovan Jackson would be a versatile piece that the Vikings could stick at guard or tackle.

Jackson played guard his entire career at Ohio State until Josh Simmons went down with an injury and Jackson had to slide out to tackle. Jackson dominated at tackle and I believe he can play either position in the NFL, something that the Texans could use.

    26) Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan

    Los Angeles Rams

I’m not sure that Colston Loveland will fall this far, but if he does there’s no way Sean McVay and company don’t make him a Ram.

Loveland is a dominant receiving threat at tight end and can play either in-line or at flex Y. He’s a fluid route runner with great hands and could instantly become one of Matthew Stafford’s favorite targets.

    27) Grey Zabel, OG, North Dakota State

    Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens have about as good of a roster as you can have, but they do need some guard help, so for that reason, they take Grey Zabel here.

Zabel played tackle at North Dakota State, but I think he projects better as a guard in the NFL. Zabel is physical and has great play strength which allows him to muscle defenders out of their stance. He’s dominant in the run game, which is only further reason why he’d be a great fit in Baltimore.

    28) James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee

    Detroit Lions

The Lions still haven’t resigned Za’darius Smith, and even if they do they need another young piece to play alongside Aiden Hutchison. James Pearce would come in and could be a pass rush specialist for the Lions immediately.

While I think Pearce can eventually develop into a solid run defender, as of right now he needs more work in that area. However, he’s a sick athlete who flies off the edge and produced high sack numbers in all three of his years at Tennessee. I think he’d be a great fit in Detroit.

    29) Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State

    Washington Commanders

The Commanders have their quarterback, and while he has weapons, I don’t think they could pass up on the chance to get another. Emeka Egbuka is the most consistent receiver in this class and would be a reliable option for Jayden Daniels.

Egbuka projects to be a slot in the NFL, but I think he’s talented enough to play on the outside as well. He runs butter-smooth routes and has strong hands. He isn’t an unreal athlete, but he consistently made plays at Ohio State and could do the same for Commanders.

    30) Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

    Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills run defense was one of the worst in the NFL last season, so why not take Kenneth Grant who is one of the best run stopping defensive tackles in this class.

Kenneth Grant isn’t as good as his Michigan counterpart, Mason Graham, but he shouldn’t be overlooked in this draft class. He was a force on Michigan’s defensive line last season and consistently made plays for them in the run game. I think his style of play would help Buffalo immediately.

    31) Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State

    Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs must address the offensive line this offseason if they want to ever go back to the super bowl and here they take Josh Simmons to do so.

KEEP READING: Which Pokémon Resemble Top 2025 NFL Draft Prospects

If Josh Simmons didn’t get injured in 2024, we could be looking at him as a top-15 selection. If he is healthy in 2025, however, he could end up being the steal of the Draft. With all the patchwork going on along the Kansas City offensive line, I think Simmons would be a bright spot for them next season.

    32) Maxwell Hairston CB, Kentucky

    Philadelphia Eagles

The rich get richer as the Eagles select maybe the best athlete in the entire draft class here in Maxwell Hairston.

Hairston ran a 4.28 at the forty-yard dash, which you can see in the film. He’s great in man-to-man situations and has solid zone coverage ability. The Eagles let Darius Slay go this offseason, and Hairston could be a great replacement for them on the boundary.

    Cleveland Browns

    Tennessee Titans
