With just over a month until the 2025 NFL Draft, the pre‑draft buzz is reaching a fever pitch. This three‑round mock draft cuts through the noise, offering a clear snapshot of where top prospects stand today — all shaped by the latest team needs emerging from free agency.

1) Cameron Ward, QB, Miami
Tennessee Titans
The Miami QB brings calm under center and a natural feel for the pocket to Tennessee. Ward excels at extending plays and delivering throws with velocity and precision. As the consensus top pick, he offers the Titans a dynamic leader to rejuvenate their offense.
2) Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
Cleveland Browns
The Browns face a crossroads at quarterback, and Sanders’ star power and playmaking upside are hard to ignore. He’s a fearless competitor with a flair for big plays who can galvanize a Cleveland offense in need of identity—and yes, he’s even playable in Madden.
3) Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State
New York Giants
Adding Penn State’s relentless edge rusher bolsters a Giants pass rush already featuring top-tier talent. Carter’s combination of burst and bend produced 12 sacks and 24 tackles for loss last season, signaling a seamless step into an NFC East power.
4) Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
New England Patriots
New England, with needs everywhere but quarterback, it would seem, are jumping for joy that the most talented athlete in the NFL Draft is still available at No.4.
The draft’s premier athlete falls into Mike Vrabel’s lap, giving New England a Swiss Army knife on offense and defense. Hunter’s 16 touchdowns, 1,258 receiving yards, and four interceptions highlight his game-changing versatility at the highest level.
5) Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
Jacksonville Jaguars
Michigan’s do-it-all defensive tackle brings interior disruption to a Jaguars unit hungry for trench dominance. Graham’s blend of power and quickness mirrors Christian Wilkins and promises to shore up Jacksonville’s run defense immediately.
6) Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State
Las Vegas Raiders
This feels very much like a Pete Carroll pick. The Raiders head coach has built his offenses around powerful running backs, see Marshawn Lynch in Seattle, and gives Geno Smith a great platform to run the Las Vegas offense.
The Raiders grab a downhill runner built for smash-mouth success. Jeanty racked up 2,601 rushing yards and 29 TDs, flirting with Barry Sanders’ historic mark and giving Las Vegas a potent new ground weapon.

7) Armand Membou, OT, Missouri
New York Jets
Aaron Glenn’s rebuild starts in the trenches with Missouri’s athletic tackle prospect. Membou’s elite combine metrics drew comparisons to Tristan Wirfs and Trent Williams, and at 6’4”, 332 pounds, he projects as a day-one starter—perhaps at guard.
8) Jalon Walker, LB, Georgia
Carolina Panthers
A twitchy linebacker with aggressive blitzing capability will add welcome defensive pressure that hasn’t recovered since the departure of Brian Burns.
Carolina adds a high-motor linebacker whose sideline-to-sideline range revives a pass rush missing that aforementioned punch. Walker’s ability to blitz from multiple fronts and cover ground mirrors Georgia’s NFL-ready track record.
9) Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
New Orleans Saints
The best cornerback in the Draft, behind Travis Hunter, lands in the Big Easy. Will Johnson, at 6’2″ and 203 pounds, is a big, physical presence with intelligence and understanding of route coverage, reminiscent of Patrick Surtain coming out of Alabama.
Johnson’s toe injury, suffered against Illinois, caused him to miss the second half of the season, but he still emerged from his college career with a school record of three pick-sixes.
10) Will Campbell, OT, LSU
Chicago Bears
Questions about his arm length dropped Campbell down draft boards, but the 6’6″, 319‑pound LSU standout is a three‑time All‑SEC performer with the versatility to start at guard or tackle in the NFL.
Chicago’s offseason overhaul of its offensive line gets a major boost here — Campbell brings proven talent and physicality to a front tasked with keeping Caleb Williams upright.
11) Kelvin Banks, Jr., OT, Texas
San Francisco 49ers
Kelvin Banks, the huge Texas tackle, joins Trent Williams to beef up the 49ers offensive trenches, and could ultimately be his successor, forming a cornerstone of the San Francisco line protecting Brock Purdy.
12) Omarion Hampton, RB, North Carolina
Dallas Cowboys
With receivers still available, Dallas could’ve opted for a speedster opposite CeeDee Lamb. Instead, they grab Hampton — a 220‑pound force who churned out back‑to‑back 1,500‑yard seasons at North Carolina.
He immediately injects the Cowboys with the kind of explosive ground game they’ve been missing since the Ezekiel Elliott era.
13) Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas
Miami Dolphins
The winner of the Jim Thorpe Award for the best defensive back in college football, Jahdae Barron has played at nickel, outside corner, and safety.
This will appeal to the Dolphins, who need a defensive back to support their current aging roster but are hamstrung by commitments to huge salaries paid in aggressive trade activity in recent years.
14) Tyler Warren, TE, Penn State
Indianapolis Colts
The best tight end in the draft offers a premium offensive weapon to Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones. Tyler Warren excelled at Penn State, mixing physicality on the line with pure athleticism that allowed him to line up all over the offense for Penn State.
He could even be found taking direct snaps in the wildcat formation, harking back to his background as a quarterback prior to his outstanding college career.
15) Mike Green, EDGE, Marshall
Atlanta Falcons
Green’s talent is undeniable. After transferring to Marshall, he led the NCAA with 17 sacks, showcasing game‑changing explosiveness off the edge. That kind of production makes him an ideal fit for the Falcons, who select him as the second edge rusher off the board.
16) Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
Arizona Cardinals
The prospect of seeing the top receiver in college football this year line up across the field from the top receiver in college football last year, Marvin Harrison, Jr., is too good to miss.
At 6’5″ tall and dominant in contested catches, Tetairoa McMillan will be a nightmare for defensive backs in the NFL.
17) Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan
Cincinnati Bengals
First-year defensive coordinator Al Golden lands a significant building block in his defensive line. Michigan’s Kenneth Grant can line up at nose tackle and pass rush incredibly well.
18) Grey Zabel, IOL, North Dakota State
Seattle Seahawks
After investing $100 million in Sam Darnold, Seattle knows he needs far more protection than he ever had in Minnesota. The Seahawks answer by adding Grey Zabel — a versatile interior force who dominated at both guard and tackle for the Bison, immediately bolstering their front and safeguarding their new franchise quarterback.

19) Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Bucs take the best player available in Malaki Starks, who led Georgia with 77 tackles in 2024. If safety were valued higher, this outstanding prospect would have been taken in the top 10; he’s that talented.
20) Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan
Denver Broncos
Loveland slots seamlessly into Denver’s offense, giving second‑year QB Bo Nix a versatile weapon who excels at crisp route-running and physical blocking. He finished his Michigan career with 11 touchdowns, and the Broncos swoop in now—stealing him away from their divisional rival Chargers before Jim Harbaugh can reunite with his former tight end.
21) Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss
Pittsburgh Steelers
Pittsburgh, who has moved on from the Justin Fields/Russell Wilson experiment, may yet still sign a veteran quarterback. Here, they invest in the future by selecting the impressive Dart, who led the SEC in passing yards at Ole Miss and holds the keys to the Steelers offense for years to come.
22) Matthew Golden, WR, Texas
Los Angeles Chargers
An impressive showing at the NFL Combine, where he ran a scorching 4.29 40-yard dash, has rocketed Matthew Golden up draft boards.
The speedy Texas receiver averaged 17 yards per catch in Austin. Harbaugh will love his ability to stretch defenses for Justin Herbert.
23) Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky
Green Bay Packers
With questions looming over Jaire Alexander and Eric Stokes’ futures in Green Bay, the Packers double down on cornerback by drafting Kentucky’s speedster.
Maxwell Hairston’s ball‑hawking instincts — capped by three pick‑sixes in 2024 (two against Vanderbilt) — fit perfectly with Green Bay’s tradition of investing first‑round capital in lockdown defenders.
24) Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
Minnesota Vikings
The archetypal Swiss Army knife defender, Nick Emmanwori, played linebacker in high school but moved into a safety role for the Gamecocks. It’s no wonder why, with his 4.40 speed how, he became team captain and All-SEC selection.
25) Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
Houston Texans
It would have been tempting to reunite C.J. Stroud with Ohio State’s Emeka Egbuka here. Instead, fellow Buckeye Josh Simmons is the priority selection to form the reunion, giving Houston’s quarterback some much-needed protection after running for his life in the playoffs against Kansas City, who sacked him eight times.
26) Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
Los Angeles Rams
Despite missing most of 2024 due to injury, Benjamin Morrison’s ball‑hawking pedigree is impossible to ignore. He tallied nine career interceptions at Notre Dame — six as a freshman alone — showcasing elite instincts in coverage.
The Rams roll the dice late in Round 1, pairing their ferocious pass rush with a true playmaker in the secondary.

27) Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon
Baltimore Ravens
This pick has a real Ravens feel to it. Derrick Harmon is an adept pass rusher, solid run blocker, and three-down player who can anchor Baltimore’s defense for years to come.
28) Mykel Williams, EDGE, Georgia
Detroit Lions
Aidan Hutchinson’s season-ending injury hurt the Lions. Pairing the talented Georgia pass rusher up with the former No.2 overall pick almost seems unfair.
Mykel Williams gives Detroit’s defense extra spice to match their high-powered offense as they look to take a step closer to the Super Bowl.
29) Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
Washington Commanders
The Commanders have been aggressive in free agency — adding Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil — and even picking late in Round 1 they still land college football’s top inside linebacker.
Jihaad Campbell combines old‑school thump with safety‑level range; at 6’3″, 244 pounds, his sideline‑to‑sideline speed and instincts are exactly what Washington’s ascending defense needs.
30) Donovan Ezeiraku, EDGE, Boston College
Buffalo Bills
The Boston College edge rusher racked up an impressive 16.5 sacks and 20.5 tackles for loss in a stunning 2024 season.
The Bills pick Donovan Ezeiraku up at No. 30, with an eye on chasing Patrick Mahomes in the postseason.
31) Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon
Kansas City Chiefs
The Chiefs suffered a humbling loss to Philadelphia in the Super Bowl, with Patrick Mahomes given no time to make plays. Kansas City made protecting its quarterback a priority and take the talented Oregon tackle, Josh Conerly Jr., to bolster its offensive line.
32) James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Tennessee
Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles have a glaring need on the edge of their defense this offseason. James Pearce is a lightning-fast pass rusher who will be an excellent compliment outside the impressive Jalen Carter on the interior of the defensive line and the superb Eagles secondary.
