Fresh off a scintillating season, the Sun Belt Conference has finalized its plans for the 2025 college football campaign. The 2025 Sun Belt schedule is now complete with the announcement of cross-divisional opponents for all 14 teams.
2025 Sun Belt Schedule Announced
The 2025 Sun Belt schedule is complete with Thursday’s announcement of the two cross-divisional opponents for each of the 14 conference teams. The full dates for the conference schedule are expected to be announced no later than March 1, 2025.
Each team in the Sun Belt Conference plays all six teams in its division, three at home and three away. The 2025 Sun Belt schedule is completed by one home and one road clash with a team from the opposite division.

The release of the cross-divisional games on the 2025 Sun Belt schedule adds further intrigue to the blossoming Group of Five conference. There will be a rematch of the 2024 Sun Belt Conference Championship Game as the Marshall Thundering Herd travel to Lafayette to take on the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
The reigning champion Cajuns will also face a potential conference front-runner in the James Madison Dukes, while the latter team has a tantalizing road game against the Texas State Bobcats.
