For the second successive offseason, the ranks of the FBS Independents have diminished, with the Army Black Knights settling into life as a conference member for the upcoming campaign.
That leaves just three teams, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, UConn Huskies, and UMass Minutemen, to compete as true independents this fall. The 2024 FBS Independents weekly football schedule details every matchup for those programs.
