2024 College Football Hall of Fame: Michael Vick and Peter Warrick Headline This Year’s Candidate Ballot Reveal

The College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2024 revealed 78 athletes from the FBS nominated, including FSU WR Peter Warrick and Virginia Tech QB Michael Vick.

The 2024 College Football Hall of Fame Class has been revealed in a list of 78 finalists by the National Football Foundation (NFF). Voting runs through the month of June before the NFF Honor’s Court is set to deliberate and select the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2024.

In total, 78 players were nominated for induction into the Class of 2024 from the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). Adding to that number were nine coaches from the FBS as well.

Joining them were 101 players and 32 coaches from the divisional ranks below the FBS.

College Football Hall of Fame: Who Votes?

The College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2024 will be voted on by more than 12,000 NFF members as well as current Hall of Famers. The NFF’s Honors Court will then deliberate and select the full class.

NFF Chairman Archie Manning’s message states that the NFF will employ “a rigorous set of objective standards to identify only the worthiest candidates, and the criteria limits us to a pool of approximately 1,500 First-Team All-Americans.”

The list was then further culled to the ballots above.

When Will the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2024 Be Announced?

The announcement is set for January 2024 for this class to be announced. Specific details were not made readily available as of the press release, but it was stated that each member selected for the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2024 will be honored on the field at their respective schools.

This will be joined by an NFF Hall of Fame On-Campus Salute as well as a formal induction ceremony on December 10, 2024, during the 66th NFF Annual Awards Dinners.
