“Easily Better Than 25” – Popular YouTuber’s Hot Take on EA Sports College Football 26 Has Fans Divided

EA Sports College Football 26 is now out but some fans have complained that they have been experiencing a few bugs. One of them is notable YouTube content creator Bordeaux, who is best known for his videos playing EA’s College Football series. The YouTuber has had plenty of experience with these games and provided an honest opinion on X, stating that 26 was better than its predecessor.

He further noted that while he finds this to be true, he was also not happy about the game being released with all the bugs.

“That’s what makes these massive early bugs that should’ve never been here on release so frustrating Gonna turn off so many people from the game bc they can’t snap the ball or their defensive zones get flipped at the last second. By the time it’s patched, they might not be back The smaller bugs, or the super rare ones I haven’t even experienced, should also not be there, but they aren’t as off putting as the main couple gameplay ones everybody will see,” he added.

    This, however, has fans divided:

“Lie. RTG has less customization options than the 2025 edition. That is a textbook example of being a worse game.” noted one person.

“Player movement feels clunky,” another person added.

“It’s exactly the same to me. I’m not complaining, but it’s exactly the same,” another player claimed.

There were those who agreed with him too.

“Get rid of the bugs that should not be in the game but ya,” one player said.

“I agree goat 🐐,” one fan commented.

“That’s a fact. The bugs piss me off but there’s so much more to like about it,” another X user said.

Review Noted Some of EA Sports College Football 26’s Many Bugs

It is not just Bordeaux who has consistently called out the game’s many bugs, as subsequent reviews have shown that EA Sports largely released the game relatively unpolished. This includes Outkick, which praised the game’s visuals but slammed it for its bugs.

The review noted that he played it on the PS5 and that hitting the button to snap the ball often does not work in dynasty mode and he received multiple delay of game penalties because of this. He first thought that his controller was the problem, but the bug persisted once he changed controllers.

There were also complaints of auto-subs constantly resetting after changing them, meters going down weekly in career progression, and even some bugs in the running animation.
