James Franklin Shares Heartfelt Post To Penn State Graduates

Penn State is celebrating a proud moment as 199 student-athletes officially become graduates. Out of them, 166 walked across the stage during the spring commencement. The remaining 33 had already earned their degrees in the winter.

However, Franklin gave special recognition to football student-athletes, who are his players and an essential part of his program. Naturally, this extra show of excitement was expected.

After these players received their degrees, Franklin wasted no time capturing the moment, taking photos with his talented graduates. He didn’t just take pictures; he also shared his excitement with the community.

On Saturday, Franklin wrote on Twitter, “Couldn’t be more proud of these #PennState GRADUATES. Congratulations on this major accomplishment, you earned it! #WeAreProud.”

Franklin’s love for his players has always been evident. Recently, during a conversation with Adam Breneman, he expressed, “I care so much about the kids, and their journey, and their experience, and what — I know you know this better than anybody — the Penn State experience can do for them over this next 50 years.”
