Who Will Announce the National Championship Game?

It will be a star-studded crew in Tampa.

Holly Rowe will report from the sideline, while Ryan Ruocco and Rebecca Lobo will be on the call for play-by-play and color commentary. The trio covered the Final Four and are expected to handle the championship broadcast as well.

Lobo is no stranger to the championship stage—she led UConn to a perfect 35–0 season and a national title in 1995. Ruocco is a veteran play-by-play announcer with experience across the WNBA, women’s college basketball, and the NBA.

Rowe, this year’s lead sideline reporter for the women’s tournament, is a longtime presence in both college and professional sports coverage.

Who Are the Officials for the National Championship Game?

The official crew for the title game has not yet been announced, but 11 referees were selected for Final Four duties. It’s expected that the three-person officiating team for the championship game will be chosen from that group, with two additional officials on standby.
