The talented Horned Frog played a pivotal role in TCU’s dominant season and made history by securing two of the conference’s most prestigious honors.

Hailey Van Lith Earns Big 12 Honors
With an unforgettable impact in her first and only season with the TCU Horned Frogs, Hailey Van Lith added her name to the Big 12 record books.
The conference recently announced its annual postseason awards, and Van Lith earned both the Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year awards in a vote conducted by the league’s 16 head coaches.
This achievement made her the first player in the Big 12’s 29-year history to win both awards in the same year. Such an accomplishment speaks volumes about her immediate impact at TCU.
Following the announcement, Van Lith celebrated the milestone by sharing photos on Instagram, proudly posing with her awards. She captioned the post, “The beauty of being present,” along with her number 10.

Her individual recognition complemented TCU’s team success. Head coach Mark Campbell was named the Big 12 Coach of the Year after leading the Horned Frogs to their first-ever regular-season conference championship.
Van Lith’s College Journey
Van Lith arrived at TCU after an already decorated collegiate career. Before joining the Horned Frogs, she played for LSU during the 2023-24 season, helping lead the Tigers to the NCAA Elite Eight.
Prior to that, she spent three seasons with Louisville, where she made two deep tournament runs, reaching the Final Four in 2022 and another Elite Eight appearance.
Now in her final college season, Van Lith has continued to showcase her all-around skills, averaging 17.6 points, 5.4 assists, and 4.4 rebounds per game. Alongside teammate Sedona Prince, she helped guide TCU to a 16-2 conference record and an overall 28-3 mark on the season.
