Notre Dame Launches Cute All-American Campaign for Hannah Hidalgo, Olivia Miles

The No. 1 Notre Dame Fighting Irish present a serious problem for opponents: there’s no easy way to stop them. Whether it’s Hannah Hidalgo’s speed or Olivia Miles’ playmaking, defenses have to pick their poison when dealing with the superstar guard duo.

Their dominance earned them the cover of SLAM 254, celebrating one of the best duos in college basketball. Now, they are back in the spotlight, but this time, it’s their miniature figures making waves.

Notre Dame Backcourt Stars Hannah Hidalgo and Olivia Miles Gain Extra Attention

Tyler Horka, a writer for On3 covering the Irish, showcased Notre Dame’s latest move to promote Hidalgo and Miles for All-American honors in a recent X post. The team released limited-edition, 3D-printed mini-figurines of both guards, generating a flood of responses asking where they could be purchased.

While the dynamic backcourt has been the biggest storyline for the Irish, forward Liatu King has emerged as a potential X-factor as March Madness approaches.

Notre Dame’s offense ranks fourth in scoring nationally, largely thanks to Hidalgo and Miles running the show. However, the team’s rebounding has been just as crucial. The Fighting Irish ranks fifth in rebounds per game and third in defensive boards, proving they dominate both ends of the floor.

King, the team’s leading rebounder, admitted she was unaware of the team’s rebounding success. “I didn’t even know that,” she said.

A graduate transfer from Pittsburgh, King has a chance to leave her mark on Notre Dame’s record books. The program’s single-season rebounding records stand at 10.3 per game and 390 total. King, averaging 10.6 rebounds per contest, has already secured 255 boards.

Hannah Hidalgo, Olivia Miles’ Versatile Impact

Hidalgo, who has received high praise from NBA legend Dwyane Wade, recognizes King’s intensity and impact. Being described as having a “dog mentality” is a badge of honor in basketball, and King has earned it.

This season, Notre Dame has embraced the motto “pick your poison.” Hidalgo ranks second in the nation in both scoring (24.9 points per game) and steals (4.04 per game). Meanwhile, Miles contributes 16.7 points per game while ranking sixth in assists (6.2 per game).

With multiple weapons at their disposal, the Irish are poised to make a deep postseason run. King’s emergence as a crucial piece only strengthens their championship aspirations.

The top-ranked Irish will next be in action on Sunday against the No. 13 N.C. State Wolfpack in Raleigh, N.C. The game will tip off at noon ET on ESPN.
