After almost three decades, Nike returned to Super Bowl advertising with a high-energy commercial showcasing some of the most dominant female athletes in sports.
WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark led the charge and headlined a powerful 60-second advertisement featuring a roster of groundbreaking women. Also included in the ad were Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles, tennis powerhouse Aryna Sabalenka, track star Sha’Carri Richardson, and several other WNBA players.

Clark took to social media to promote the ad, posting a series of images alongside a caption that read, “You’ll be told you can’t do it. So do it anyway ✧ @nike.”
After seeing the commercial, her former Iowa teammate, Jada Gyamfi, couldn’t help but admire Clark’s physical strength. Expressing her appreciation, she re-shared the post on her own Instagram story with her thoughts on Clark’s toned physique. She wrote, “That muscle definition.”
Nike, headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, made a clear statement with this campaign, marking a shift back to its origins. The company’s chief marketing officer, Nicole Hubbard Graham reinforced this direction, stating, “We really want to get back to athletes over algorithms. You cannot be capturing demand if you’re not also creating demand.”
Caitlin Clark Raises Hype on Super Bowl Appearance
As Super Bowl LIX drew closer, speculation grew about whether Clark would attend the game to support the Kansas City Chiefs. A known Chiefs fan, the basketball star was spotted in New Orleans for Gatorade’s Super Bowl event. It led many to wonder if she planned to be in the stands for the “Big Game.”
Clark had previously made headlines when she was seen in a suite with pop icon Taylor Swift during a Chiefs playoff game.

During an interview with Fox Sports, Clark added to the intrigue by playfully teasing fans with her response when asked about her plans.

Fans speculated whether she would once again be spotted alongside Swift, possibly in the VIP suite, at Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, La. Clark and Swift’s growing friendship became a topic of conversation throughout the 2024 football season, especially after Clark attended a concert during Swift’s Eras Tour.
Their connection gained even more attention when they were seen sitting together in the VIP box at Arrowhead Stadium for a January 2025 Chiefs playoff game against the Houston Texans.
