‘DIS IS TEA’ ‘Awww’: Ice Brady, Kamorea Arnold and More Left Star Stuck by UConn’s Azzi Fudd’s Ig Dump

A few hours ago, UConn women’s basketball standout senior guard Azzi Fudd shared a post on her Instagram handle, azzi35, with the caption “Cruise Dump.” The post featured a series of attention-grabbing photos from her recent cruise.

The post gained traction with a series of reactions from her UConn teammates. Kamorea Arnold couldn’t hold back, commenting “DIS IS TEA FUDDD,” followed by a fire emoji and a heart-eye emoji.

Ice Brady, UConn’s key forward, also commented on the post, saying “awww” followed by an emoji. Sarah Strong simply wrote “fud” while Killa Krossover added “this tea” with a tea cup emoji.

Fudd is now seen by many as the face of UConn women’s basketball. Her return for the 2025–2026 season, announced in March, was a pivotal moment for the program. It signalled continuity and ambition for the team. She averaged 13.6 points per game last season and was named the Final Four’s Most Outstanding Player; she is now expected to anchor a roster that remains loaded with talent.

Arnold, who emerged as a key contributor during the NCAA tournament, has often spoken about the bond she shares with Fudd. Brady, who returned strongly last year, has also been vocal about the team’s chemistry. Their on-court chemistry will further matters, as seen with UConn moving to the next level.

The Huskies will return a core that includes Arnold, Brady, and Caroline Ducharme, along with incoming freshmen expected to contribute immediately. But Fudd will be a key in setting the tone.

Azzi Fudd: A Leader On and Off the Court

Fudd is a social media sensation and a cornerstone of UConn’s women basketball. Her social media savvy is part of a broader trend in college sport, one where athletes increasingly builds on brands alongside their careers. Her NIL partnerships, including deals with BioSteel and SC30 Inc., has also positioned her as one of the most marketable players in college.

She is a five-star recruit out of high school. Before landing in Storrs, she earned the Gatorade National Player of the Year title. In her freshman season, she helped push the Huskies to the NCAA title game. Since then, she has piled up honors like an All-Big East First Team nod, cementing her status as a rising star.

With the season about to begin, UConn has a lot riding on this group. The love and energy bouncing around Fudd’s post signal a team that’s locked in both as athletes and as friends. Their unity could give them the edge they need to further dominate the Big East and make some noise in March.
