    Audi Crooks Makes History in Iowa State’s Win Over Kansas

    Crooks became the first center in women’s college basketball to score 600 points this season. She accomplished this feat in the game against Kansas and is now the first Big 12 player to do so.

    Crooks played a major role in Iowa State’s success, leading the team with 25 points, continuing her streak of scoring in double figures for the 59th consecutive game. She also recorded nine rebounds in the game.

    This performance marked her 35th game with 20 or more points, proving her consistent offensive presence. With 1,257 career points, Crooks moved up to 23rd place on the all-time list for Iowa State women’s basketball.

    Her achievement of scoring 600 points this season came with her third point in the game. This solidified her position as one of the league’s top players and highlighted her outstanding contributions this season.

    Crooks has been a key player for Iowa State, regularly contributing on both ends of the court, and her scoring ability has made her one of the top players in the nation.

    Record-Breaking Performance by Iowa State

    Iowa State’s victory was not only due to Crooks but also the team’s impressive shooting. The Cyclones set a season high by making 18 three-pointers in the game, a significant factor in their offensive success.

    This was the 11th time this season that Iowa State made at least 10 three-pointers in a game.

    Coach Bill Fennelly also reached a notable career milestone with this victory, moving to a 629-322 record at Iowa State and a 795-375 record in his career.

    His leadership has been a key factor in Iowa State’s success, and his ability to guide the team to big wins continues to stand out. The Cyclones’ win pushed their all-time record to 885-675, and their conference record improved to 342-357.
