Henderson’s draft stock was climbing after posting a blazing 4.43 forty at the Combine, earning the highest athleticism score (92) among running backs from Next Gen Stats.
There was buzz Henderson could sneak into the first round, and while that fell just short, he still went with the No. 38 overall pick to the New England Patriots.
He finished fifth on the Buckeyes’ all-time rushing list and heard his name called just a few picks after his backfield mate, Quinshon Judkins.
