Spencer Danielson is one of college football’s most promising young head coaches. The 36-year-old led the Boise State Broncos to the College Football Playoff in 2024, as the first non-Power 4 “auto-bid” conference winner after breezing through the Mountain West undefeated in his first full year at the helm.
Now, Danielson has finalized a new contract that runs through the 2029 season. The deal doubles his salary to an average of $2.2 million per year. The deal totals nearly $11 million over five years and makes him the second-highest paid coach in the Mountain West behind UNLV’s Dan Mullen, whose contract is worth $3.5 million this year.
