The fortunes of the two teams in this FSU vs. Boston College game couldn’t be further apart as an ascending Seminoles program continue to live up to preseason expectation. Mike Norvell’s team was dominant in the second half against LSU, with their two-way explosion leading to a comprehensive 45-24 win.
They followed up with a Week 2 win over Southern Miss.
The Week 3 clash with Boston College opens up an eight-game Seminoles ACC slate that concludes with another national brand on the rise in the Miami (FL) Hurricanes. Given their current form and outlook, the Boston College game projects to be one of the easier games on the FSU schedule.
A road trip to Clemson next week and a Week 8 clash with Duke promise to be bigger tests.

Other than the disrupted 2020 campaign, this Boston College vs. FSU game has been a permanent fixture on the schedule dating back to 2005. The Eagles come into the game riding a four-game losing streak against the ‘Noles and have won just once in the last 11 attempts.
As FSU ascends back to national relevancy, the game couldn’t come at a worse time for a struggling BC team.
