The schedule starts off with a bang for Washington State. Taking on two potential contenders within their first three games, the Cougars will host Texas Tech and play Washington in Seattle. It’s a big win for the Cougars and Huskies as they’ll continue the Apple Cup despite the Huskies’ departure to the Big Ten.

Though much earlier in the season, the Apple Cup occurs in Week 3 of the 2024 football schedule.

Elsewhere on the Cougars’ schedule, the Mountain West merger comes into play to all but finish out their entire schedule. Washington State has home games against San Jose State, Utah State, Wyoming, and Hawaii as part of the merger, as the San Jose State game was previously scheduled.

Washington State will travel to Boise State, New Mexico, and Fresno State while also making the trek to take on their lone conference foe: Oregon State.
